It's not just a new letter! He's got a new scrapbook up of pictures from making the Matador, he's got a link to the official website which now seems to be up and running AND....
I am just one very happy camper.
Love...B

PB.com has been updated with two new clips for the Whaleman Foundation. Totally cool! Thanks sparklingblue! Pierce has the best official celebrity web site that I've seen yet. It's got a nice clean look and it's updated on a regular basis with lots of things to interest us fans. I've seen way too many celebrities put up official web sites with only the basic information on them and then they never touch them again. What's the point in that? I don't know who does Pierce's site, but they do a good job. The only thing I wish they would add is an Updates page, so we could be sure of not accidently missing stuff like this.

His website has up an "alert" asking fans to watch ABC's "Primtetime Live" on October 27th, since it will feature a look at the dolphin industry.

The site is done by Green-i Software and Services It's a good suggestion about the updates, Respectanimals, maybe you should consider writing them about it. I decided to take your advice Yuliya and contacted them about adding an Updates page. I just received a reply that states they will "take it into consideration." We'll just have to wait and see I guess. They also let me know that two new video clips have been added to the site in the "Activist" section. The first is of Pierce for NRDC and the second is of Pierce and Liam for UNICEF. Y'all should head over there and check them out when you get a chance!

Thanks for the update. I just checked out the Unicef Video and I thought it is funny because Pierce & Liam looked as though they are getting their mug shots at a police line-up complete with the unicef wording on their T-shirts which looks like those little numbers held up chest height..... ;D That's no way to treat the SMA....

I see what you mean QT. Maybe they were busy working and just recorded something real quick and mailed it in. Then again when you are talking about a subject as serious as this, drab is more appropriate than colorful or cheerful. I had read that Pierce and Liam had recorded a message for UNICEF, but it was great to actually get to see it! There's also a book that Pierce and Liam participated in for UNICEF called For the Children - A Celebration of Families: www.unicef.ie/unicef.php?content=./shopView/showProduct.php&prod=0001

Reposting it here for posterity. April 22, 2006 Dear Friends: Spring greetings to you all. I am currently in Vancouver working on Butterfly on a Wheel, a psychological thriller starring Maria Bello and Gerard Butler. My production company Irish DreamTime is also going full steam ahead on The Thomas Crown Affair sequel and we are in the planning stages for filming in Europe and New York City. Please check your local PBS listings for a six-part documentary I narrated called Jean-Michael Cousteau’s Ocean Adventures. The series illuminates the great need for better understanding and sustainable management of the oceans' rich natural treasures. In January I wrapped principal photography on Seraphim Falls, a period piece set in the post-Civil War era, written and directed by David Von Ancken. I was thus able to shave, at long last, the beard that I was wearing for the role. My wife Keely was elated. The Matador will be released on DVD on July 4, 2006. If you’d like to reserve an advanced copy, please click here. Stay tuned - I hope 2006 finds you and yours, happy, healthy, and enjoying the great outdoors. Love and only love, ============================================ Great news about TCA2. though I wonder why he didn't mention Caitlin. I do wish his site would fix the pic of the day glitch. I love that Vanity Fair shoot but they've been revolving the same photos for more than a month. Ah. his Timeline added a very small photo of him on Seraphim Falls. Ace

Great news! Sparadra I wonder if it has anything to do with the news that Colin Farrell is in rehab? (Beau St. Clair sends her love, and a fruit basket.) <large wink>

I think it's more likely that the FOX studio head said, what do you mean you want to make a Remington Steele movie and not be Remington Steele? We can't sell that! Of couse as of now projects for Magnum, The A-Team, Dallas and Night Rider (!) are in development so who knows.
