As part of a multi-fandom kind of Secret Santa fiction grab bag called The Yuletide Treasure there's a new Steele story called Put The Blame On Steele that's a unique spin on Mr Steele's love of the movies and how they shape his view of the world and his relationship with Laura. Well worth reading IMO. Ace

An unusual point of view but a very interesting one. Thanks!

Don't read fanfic often but decided to check this out. Novel approach!

I loved all the movie and silver screen star bits since like Mr Steele I too am an old movie junkie. My favorite bit... poor Steele realizing he'd become a lightweight Cary Grant... David Niven... and desparing. Ace

I wrote a new story. It's not announced on my site yet (I'll update the home page tonight) but you can just follow the links to Fanfic section or read it at yuliya.topcities.com/Fanfic/Night.html. The story was written as a part of a challenge where every author was supposed to pick a scene from an episode and reverse roles, so don't be surprised.

Need some clues on the RS Fan Fic front. Is the Myrtle Groggins who hails from here (hello there!) the same MG that penned the story "Promises of Steele." A friend of mine is a fan and has been wondering where the writer has run off to.
Also, I was tipped to go to fanfiction dot net as Xenon has been busy. I thought Ace or other enquiring minds might want to know (if they don't already). Absence has made the heart grow very fond. Off to read. Ah, bliss!! Well, near bliss. I confess I'm a tad discouraged that not every RS scribe on the planet has writer's block. Misery does love company, LOL!

Is my company not enough anymore? Thanks for the tip! Just what I needed instead of writing that long, boring document that I don't even know how to approach.

Perish the thought! There's no one I'd rather spend my wilderness years with than you, YS. We can both cry into our inkwells until dawn's early light. But, there's something to be said for the more, the merrier. The others can always bring pizza.

RSFic Yahoo group had a new challenge that was supposed to be posted today. The idea was pick one long-term recurring character and a one-time character and construct their high school yearbook entries - sports, clubs and activities, honors, voted most likely (or least likely) to, and whatever else strikes a participant's fancy. Today isn't over, so I don't know if there'd be any entries but mine; I couldn't participate properly and instead came up with a short story. It's not linked to from my site yet (I'll update it when I have time, it's long due anyway) but can be found here - yuliya.topcities.com/Fanfic/Yearbook.html Enjoy!

A friend of mine is a fan and has been wondering where the writer has run off to. No, this Myrtle Groggins isn't the Myrtle Groggins who writes the fanfiction. It's another MG. Where she got her name, I'll never know. While I do write, and belong to a few writers organiztions, I don't write as Myrtle Groggins. Shucks, I don't even read the fanfic. Although I'm becoming more and more tempted all the time.

Hello all. While I stood by in an advisory capacity, Ace, taipan of chewy website goodness, rounded up my fan fiction, past and present, and created a stylish new home for them. She will be responsible for all the design and maintenance now and in future, and I will be responsible for actually writing something. You never know what might show up next -- naked pictures of my dog, or a fic composed entirely of movie titles, so go in and have a look around. Stories co-written with Anne Rose and my new story, Elementary Steele -- An Addition are there, too. andrea11.t35.com/

Lauryn,
I am also looking forward to reading more of your RS Fanfic on your new site. I loved "Orchestrated Steele", too. And "Lost Art of Steele"; being an artist myself, I really appreciated the sensual aspects of this story. Not to mention, it was pretty hot, too!
