Hollywood Reporter: Oceana honors Cameron, Brosnan

ABC Entertainment president Stephen McPherson, Annett Wolf, president of PR firm Wolf-Kasteler-Van Iden & Associates, filmmaker James Cameron and actor Pierce Brosnan and his wife, Keely Shaye Smith, are set to be honored at this year's Oceana Partners Award Gala.
The gala, taking place Nov. 9 at the Esquire House 360 in Beverly Hills, honors "individuals who have made outstanding contributions through their personal commitment to the cause of protecting our oceans."
Felicity Huffman will be on hand to present the award to McPherson, Nicolas Cage will present to Wolf, Universal Studios president and chief operating officer Ron Meyer will present to Brosnan and Smith, and Jamie Lee Curtis will present to Cameron.
The event will begin with a VIP reception at 6 p.m., followed by the awards presentation at 6:45 p.m. and a cocktail party at 7:30 p.m. The gala also will feature a live and silent auction.
The American Ocean's Campaign, which was founded in 1987 by Ted Danson and is now part of Oceana, is a nonprofit international advocacy organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the world's oceans.
Past Partners Award honorees include former President Clinton, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Danson, Mary Steenburgen, Woody Harrelson, Christopher Reeve, Alan Horn and Ted Turner.
