Has anyone watched this yet? Thanks to a certain someone, I was reminded to set the tape up before I left the house today. It was very cute -- would have like to have seen him dance, though. (as Ellen always does) I was pleasantly surprised to hear Remington Steele get relatively major attention, and then Ellen gave a copy of RS season 2 to everyone in her audience! It would be interesting to see if that gave it a bump at Amazon. It was PB's nonchalant introduction to the Muppet story that amused me, however: "....after my first Bond movie, the muppets called me...." Really? Was it Kermit, or Gonzo, or some lowly muppet who did the booking for the show? ;D Didn't someone mention him having laryngitis a while back? He sounded a bit rough today. cg

It's a common thing for any one who's worked with The Muppets to refer to them as if they're real entities, but it is funny hearing him sayd "Then Gonzo said..." so matter of factly. Best part was his reaction to her gift. So funny! Yuliya, Ellen is syndicated, it's on different times and stations. Ace

I don't know....it was on at 10 a.m. here. "Check your local listings," as they say. Hope you didn't miss it!

I missed it! Gross me out. I got a call to go out and meet my peeps and failed to set the VCR before I left. I'm not worthy.
Can anybody describe the interview for me? I went on Ellen's website and ran the video, but all it showed was his excuse for learning to eat fire (topless women), and then shouting OH MY GOD at some large black-draped item he was confronted with on the stage. What was under that drape?
IcyCalm (Wait a minute - what do topless women have to do with fire-eaters?)

You have to take your top off to practice fire eating so it doesn't catch on fire --particualrly when doing the flames under the arms moves. PB noted that the fire eating seminar was populated by plenty of girls, topless girls. For some reason a 17 year PB was interested in joining. ;D What's behind the cover -- look away if you don't want a spoiler:

Ouch! And what are they showing tonight on OXYGN, then? Maybe Ellen? It was shown on two different stations and times in NYC so it might be showing multiple times in Boston. Ace

Is there any chance to see the Ellen show for those who don't live in the USA?

I get "Ellen" at 11 pm here in Atlanta and PB was nowhere in sight last night. Turns out that we get it on a delayed basis, I guess. They kept talking about the People's Choice Awards being earlier in the week and that was *last* week, according to last week's TV Guide. They announced that Greg Kinnear was a guest for tonight, and I believe he was actually on last week also, right?
This happened when PB was on after DAD - "Ellen" was delayed a week then, too. So now I have to wait another week, hoping that PB *will* be on next Thurs. Bummer!

It looks like I did miss it, but it's not as bad as it could be. It appears OXYGEN does show Ellen Degeneres show, but they're about a week late. Yesterday they showed the Tom Cruise show that, according to Ellen's website, was aired on the 12th. And tonight is Greg Kinnear. So I hope they'll show the one with PB next week, and in glorious quality, too, because OXYGEN is a satellite channel and my indoor TV antenna really sucks.

Thanks for making the video file, Ace! His appearance on Ellen was so amusing. Everything that made me laugh has already been mentioned, though. (Poor Pierce, forget to suck in your stomach once and it haunts you forever. Not that it's such a big deal, he is in great shape.) I liked that PB's hair isn't quite so "Bond-ish "short anymore. And Ellen was nice without gushing excessively over him. Just one thing: I'm not sure if I saw this correctly, but did he kiss her on the lips?

The thing is, he says he forgot to suck it in but he really didn't because the character is suppossed to look like that and it's what maes the character and the humor. Shepard wanted him skinny with a belly and they purposely dress him in tight clothes all 1/2 size too small to accentuate that he's going to seed physicslly as well as emotionally. But Pierce's OMG and covering his hands with his face -- priceless! I didn't notice the kissing but I wouldn't be surprised. They always flirt when he's on and they seem to know each other. Ace

Im not too worried about the kissing because isnt she gay anyway? Im sure I heard that somewhere, which is probably why he kissed her on the lips and not all the other female interviewees, Just a thought! He probably felt quite safe..LOL XX

If I recall in the interview he did with Ellen for ATS back in 2004 his mike wasn't properly attached so she fixed it and while she was doing it leaned in and kissed him. Or I could have imagined all that. ;D

BTW, in case OXYGEN airs the PB episode - when was he on - in the beginning, in the middle, in the end?
In the meantime I watched the one with Greg Kinnear. Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. They worked so well together, too.
