Author Susie Bright, blogging at The Huffington Post, www.huffingtonpost.com/susie-bright/the-25-sexiest-novels-eve_b_22089.html does a Q and A of Jim Petersen, who's just penned an article for Playboy Magazine, "The Twenty Five Sexiest Novels Ever Written." The blogpost is a fairly interesting discussion of the subject in its own right but here's a snippet that I thought this board would appreciate: JP: The really good writers know how to fuck in character. (The only comparison I can make is Pierce Brosnan in two movies that weren't James Bond-- the sex in The Thomas Crown Affair, and the sex in The Tailor of Panama thing -- that's exactly how those characters would fuck).Except for the word "thing" after TOP, I couldn't have put it better myself. Well, we've always thought so, but nice to hear it confirmed by independent research. <wink>

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D That's what I call attention to character. I saw that article earlier and it was originally phrased "Panama Tailor thing". I gathered he couldn't recall the exact title, and thing was not a reflection on the quality of the film. Ace

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D That's what I call attention to character. Stanislavski would be proud, LOL! PB gets considerable style points for both roles but esp. for TOP's Osnard, whose appetites (sex arguably the uppermost) are his defining characteristic.

Three years at the Drama Centre have not gone in vain. Christopher Fettes and Yat Malgrem would be so proud. *sniff*

That's what dedicated method acting is really about.
