Not in a million years is that Pierce.
1) He already has a website, one that others update for him because he is internet phobic. 2) He'd never use a james_bond_007 address 3) He could get a better main photo than a desaturated cropping of a photo I scanned from Town & Country. And he'd never use one blurring out Keely! ;D

I wonder if someone should email PB's site about it. It would have been funny had it not lasted for over a year. It's fraud; whoever's behind it simply copies announcements from piercebrosnan.com, and there are many fanst who believe they talk with PB. On the other hand, here's no harm in that... Whatver keeps people happy... Pipe dreams...

Someone who looks like Johnny Depp is posing as Pierce's myspace friend Ryan. Shame the "Brosnan" poser has been at it for a year and can't think of anything more original to do than cut and paste. I'm reminded of a news story that's just out. The FBI is investigating a person for fraud who posted sentiments that were pro Joe Lieberman (the Senator from Connecticut) on a weblog. (I can hear you saying surely that's not illegal, a little misguided maybe.) What got the feds interested was that the poster pretended to be, as his fancy took him, fellow Senators Harry Reid and Barack Obama. I don't think impersonating an actor is quite as likely to get the law on your tail. Brad Pitt's been doing it for years. At least I can't blame The Da Vinci Code on BP. The SMA might wish he had a percentage of Da Vinci, it's making buckets of cash, but from what I saw at the movies I'd fear for his health. Poor Tom Hanks looks like he just got on the waiting list for a colonoscopy and Audrey Tatou appears clinically depressed. I really shouldn't pile on after the critics have given it such a thumping. We've all seen worse. Bless him, there's always the insouciant Ian McKellen who can even make a library full of expository dialogue sparkle. There were times when I half expected him to turn to the audience, twinkle in his eye, and say, "what complete bollocks!" but maybe that's for the deleted scenes on the DVD. The movie would have gone down like the Titanic without him. If I were Ron Howard I'd have given him first dollar gross and French kissed him on the set every morning -- but we know Sir Ian has far better taste in men.

Anything more "original" and he'd probably be sued. McKellen does tend to invest almost all his roles, no matter how unworthy the film with the kind of energy, flair and nuance as if he was doing Richard III. I've heard McKellan is the saving grace of DaVinci Code but I'm unwilling to put that to the test with my movie dollars. I did pay to see him raise X-Men3 up to another level whenever he was on screen though. The film was a tad er choppy and goofy and really played fast and loose with the X-Men characters and hsitory. But I still enjoyed this film far more thean the first 2 which I found dull. It was fun. It's also fun to think McKellen is now the reigning box office king of the world!

The whole site is weird, but I love the posting by 'Hugh Laurie' that says, "Never heard of you."
What in the world is everyone talking about when they say, "Thanks for the add." Do they mean 'ad' and don't know how to spell?

LOL! I love Hugh Laurie. So I gather MySpace is littered with imposter celebrities. Add -- I gather they mean added to their contact/friends list or added entry. But I'm not up on MySpace speak. . Ace

This just in....
Mary Kate Olsen has her own space at MySpace, where she warns readers to be nice in their comments or she will delete the nasty and "adult" rated ones. :-D
Some folks just have nothing better to do in life.

I stumbled across this again when doing a search and I don't know what's more surprising -- that MySpace Phony Pierce has almost 2,500 "friends", that so many of them are posting as if it's really Pierce (some of which leave provactive photos of themselves) or that he has ADAM SANDLER FANS listed as one of his groups!
Bwahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!
