Paul Martin's showbiz column: PIERCE BROSNAN
July 13, 2005 4:39am Europe Intelligence Wire
PIERCE BROSNAN has all of his Bond tuxedos hung up in the wardrobe of his Malibu mansion.
The smooth-talking star kept them as mementos after filming each of the movies.
He explained: "Each movie was a big part of my life and what's more appropriate to Bond than the tuxedos?
"They never come out of the wardrobe - they are just there, doing nothing."

So the tuxedo which Chandler from Friends wanted to rent for his wedding... the one that was too small for him... OMG, did they make it up?

But of course. Did you really believe that PB's pants would be too short for Chandler? Tsk tsk. Ace

As I haven't seen that particular episode, I don't know what the problem was. I assumed it was too tight across Chandler's, er, chest, which didn't surprise me.

For the record folks....he has three of all his costumes made, just in case the first two get wrecked in any way. He probably has ONE from each film, and the other two are God knows where.
It is possible that Chandler did wear one of the other tuxs, or he was wearing a stunt man's version. Who knows.

Oh it may be possible but completely improbable that one of those very expensive pieces of memorabilia are being loaned out at stores like Rachel's. Though if I recall the episode doesn't say it's a tux worn in a Bond film but one PB had worn and for some reason as a loaner to some awards ceremony. It's completely impossible though that any tux worn by PB would have legs too short for Chandler. I'm with Yuliya, it would have made more sense if he was just too heavy to fit in the jacket. Ace

Oh, Chandler and the Bond tuxedo--I had a good laugh at that too. I think they just wanted to have at least his name on the show. They were probably jeaous of The Simpsons. I'm glad that PB gives his tuxedoes a good rest, though. ;D

I remember that episode, too. Funny. What do you mean Chandler is too chubby for the tux? I'd rather think PB is just a bit more svelte than Chandler.

They're showing early episodes of Friends on TBS these days, from the time when Ross was having a baby and Joey and Chandler bought the fussball table. Tune in for a few minutes, you'll see what "Chandler is chubby" means.

Mathew Perry has been going back and forth from lanky to chubby a few times during the series. Can't seem to find the balance, apparently. Speaking of Friends: Is it just me, or is Season 10 (it's on in Germany currently) really rather boring?

I wouldn't know; my husband had this crazy idea that we should try watching the last season but we broke down after 2 episodes, though later condescended to watch the last one. I think we wanted to make sure the series ended.

Can't swear to it, but it's a possible explanation. cg

Not only does one oral fixation replace another but it's often that the people are actually finally eating regularly again when they hadn't been. Ace
