And you think Indiana doesn't have babes or martinis? You aren't looking in the right places. He was probably involved in an undercover operation. cg

Well... Indiana does have babies and Martinis... And I'm sure CG likes it there... But I'm sure if Mr. Bond knew he'd die there he'd die earlier just to escape such fate. You wouldn't the next Bond movie to be set there, would you. (CG, we know you would, but what about the rest of us?)

;D ;D
I can just see it now.
Please, could someone just shoot me (or better yet squeeze me to death with their luscious thighs) while I'm still on the Riviera before I die in Indiana.

Well... Indiana does have babies and Martinis... Of course we have babies. Oddly enough, in Indiana, that happens after people have sex, unlike in Bond movies. ;D And sometimes after the martinis, too. I'm not sure that's logical. If Indiana is a bad place to be, wouldn't it be better to die here than live here? Who cares about the rest of you?? Those big cities on the coast always get the action/adventure movies! And what do we have? Bicycles and basketball and baseball and the race! (25 points to whoever can name each film first) We're due for a Bond film - or at least Harrison Ford. ;D cg

Baseball: Field of Dreams Basketball: Hoosiers Bicycle Racing: Breaking Away (LOVE this film!) You can have Harrison Ford, but don't blame me if the film is another dud. Ace

Not bad, but 3 out of 4 is only 75%. Whoever gets ALL four gets the 25 points. What, you don't like Harrison Ford? Or just some of his more recent films? (Or his current - I think - girlfriend?) cg

Oh I didn't think the third referred to a film but the Indianapolis 500. If it refers to a film I have no idea. As for for Ford he's OK, but I haven't been bowled over by him in a film since Witness. I've enjoyed a couple of his others since then but he's rarely been the best thing in any of those films IMO. His recent stuff well just stinks. As for his girlfirend, I have no opinion except maybe she should have an ice cream and live a little. Ace

Yes, "the race" is the 500, but put the two together.... race + movie + (do you need a hint? - star was known for blue eyes when PB was just a tot) (no, not Frank Sinatra!) Oh, come on, tell us what you really think. LOL Good advice. cg

Wasn't Joanne Woodward in that one? Ace

She's been in a lot of his, but I'd have to check with IMDb. Haven't actually seen the (still unnamed!) movie myself, just knew it existed. Any other takers?

p.s. Yes, she was.

OK I cheated by looking at the IMDB but it's Winning where once again he starred with Robert Wagner , who he acted with in the much superior film Harper which no was not a sports film and didn't happen in Indiana. Ace
