I found a list of downloader sites and thought others -- especially those regularly uploading files might be interested in the different options and features. Some may have annoying log jams and funky interfaces and too many ads (IMO megaload suffers from this) though I think I eliminated most of them for the larger list.
www.yousendit.com - 1gb max file size & 7 days limit & 20 max downloads (great for huge files -- not so great for numerous downloads or it's short time period)
www.zupload.com - 500mb max file size unlimited downloads. Files will expire in 30 days of inactivity.
www.spread-it.com - 500mb max file size unlimited downloads. 14 day limit from time of upload.
www.bigupload.com - 500mb max file size. Unlimited downloads; Deleted only if there is no download activity in 30 days.
www.sendspace.com - 300mb max gone after 7 days of inactivity (a pity about the 7 days but I love their interface for an account and you can keep track of several large files this way)
www.savefile.com - 60MB max file size unlimited downloads; deleted after 30 days of inactivity)
rapidshare.de - 50mb max file size unlimited downloads. Download Limit: 50MB/hour (stinks for multiple downloaders) File deleted if not downloaded for 30 days.
www.4shared.com - 50mb max file size (1 gb total) -- unlimited download. Requires account (basically ID and e-mail) Your account deletes after 30 days inactivity (basically just sign into your account once a month and it will keep all links current even downloads that haven't been downloaded in ages. Personally, I suggest this for anyone that wants to keep a lot of files under 50mb each online permanently and keep track of them in one account)
