OH BOY! I am curious to see what role Pierce plays. I don't think it will be the father since he would only be seen in flashbacks. Maybe it will be a friend of the father's?

I don't know when the George Bernard Shaw movie will happen, but Four Letters of Love is about to shoot, and he is playing the father of the main lead. And Helena Bonham Carter is playing the female lead's mum. Film Schedule for Four Letters of Love-- Barbara

That is a shame because him playing GBS could have been an Oscar run for him.

I don't think he's in the video. If you are referring to the bearded gentleman at the beginning, it is definitely not Pierce. Also, there was this quote in the article ... "However, it is understood that none of the leading stars of the film were seen on set on Monday."

He is in the video, in a hat, walking with a blonde. He goes by very quickly. Then again, looking at the video, it might be him right at the beginning or it might be someone else.

EXCLUSIVE: Hollywood star Pierce Brosnan delights fans at Donegal film shoot written by Rachel McLaughlin March 4, 2023
Visitors to Glenveagh National Park were in for an exciting surprise yesterday when they bumped into Irish Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan.
The former James Bond star is shooting an Irish romantic drama, Four Letters of Love, in some of Donegal’s most scenic areas this week.
Glenveagh National Park was a hive of activity on Friday as the cast and crew worked on the all-star production.
And as the evening came to a close, Pierce took the chance to call into the Glenveagh Castle cafe for a break. Local visitors, tourists and park staff gathered to meet the Meath man, who was happy to say hello and pose for a few photos.
Naiades Williams was visiting the park with her relatives from Brazil when they spotted Mr Brosnan. The 69-year-old actor is almost unrecognisable these days as he sports long grey hair and a rugged look for his role.
Naiades told Donegal Daily: “He was very gentle and kind and polite. He stood and took pictures and had a quick chat with everyone. I think everyone didn’t want to bother him too much. We tried to be quick because we guessed he was tired after a long day of filming.”
Naiades, who is originally from Brazil, now lives in Letterkenny and was delighted that her family’s holiday to Donegal got off to such a thrilling start.
“My relatives were saying how exciting it was that they came all the way from Brazil to see this happening. We will be looking forward to watching the movie when it comes out.”
Naiades got some behind-the-scenes photos of the film set, which made the experience even more special.
Second-year students of Mulroy College also got a glimpse of the ‘lights, camera and action’ during their Bridle Path Walk as part of ETB Week.
The Four Letters of Love film shoot began on the north coast of Co Antrim last month, but the crew is expected to remain in Donegal for some time and a return to Glenveagh park has been rumoured.
The film, based on the best-selling novel by Niall Williams, also stars Helena Bonham Carter and Gabriel Byrne along with Normal People star Fionn O’Shea, who will play a character named Nicholas, and Ann Skelly (The Nevers).
From award-winning film-maker Polly Steele, Four Letters of Love is a life-affirming tale about faith and doubt and the miracle of love. The story is set in Dublin and on an island off the west coast of Ireland.
Donegal is no stranger to filming activity of late, as the Donegal Film Office continues its stellar work promotign the north west as a top location. Filming is ongoing in the Bundoran/Ballyshannon area, where the TV series ‘Obituary’ is being made.
