Hi all, Long time lurker but first time poster. I wanted to tell you all about when I met Pierce a couple of months back. I am a huge fan and was dying to meet him. Rather than just ask him for something I decide to give him something so seeing as my favourite film with him is The Matador I made this cool soft cushion toy of Pierce to give to him. Anyway I knew he was coming to London to film a Long Way Down and knew where he was based so one day I headed up to wait for him. When Pierce eventually showed up I introduced myself and explained that I was a fan but had made something for him. At first Pierce seemed to wonder what on earth I was giving him but he was then very cool with it. Even better was his mum was with him and she absolutely loved it!!! In her own words she said it was marvelous!!! I then had a few minutes chat with Pierce and his mum and they were both absolutely amazing!!! Two such very friendly and nice people. Absolutely made my day and I was over the moon. After the few mins chat I asked Pierce would he mind if I got a quick photo which he didn't - he put his first up for us to clench fists in the pic and we both have big grins! Have included a pic of what I made for him. Hope you guys enjoy the story - I am still grinning all these weeks later!!! Attachments:

Welcome out of long time lurkdom and with a very cool story. I'm grinning from reading it. ;D
I agree with Pierce's mum - that Julian Noble cushion is marvelous! I love especially the 5 o'clock shadow and the iconic orange jacket.

He laughed in the end when he was looking at it!
