Dench was a lead actor with the Royal Shakespeare Company in the 1960s and '70s, won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as Elizabeth I in "Shakespeare in Love" and was nominated for Best Actress as Queen Victoria in "Mrs. Brown" and as novelist Iris Murdoch in "Iris." She also plays M opposite Pierce Brosnan's James Bond.

That's great! I like Judi Dench. She's done quite a variety of material.

Yes, she is a very fine actress; one of my favourites. Very convincing in any part she plays, whether it be "M" or Armande Voizin in Chocolat, to only name a few. www.imdb.com/name/nm0001132/
