I just found the DVD of The Man in the Brown Suit on Amazon.com. Check out the whopping price tag!! Of course it's a SET of several, so that's not too bad. It actually looks like a good set. This is the first time I've seen SZ's "The Man In The Brown Suit" in either DVD or video tape form, although this doesn't mean it never was released before. I just don't know. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000GB5M1U/imdb-adbox/

It may have been released on tape before but never DVD. I thought the price of this set would have gone down after a few months or maybe they'd have split them up by now and sold them individually but nope. If you buy the set you can see Anthony Andrews -- the man who could have been Steele in Sparkling Cyanide . It's rather outrageous for 8 films especially when you can buy three for $14.99 at Deep Discount (Murder Under The Sun, Death on the Nile and Mirror Crack'd (with PB being clutched to Liz Taylor's bosom)) Ah DDD has the 8 set with SZ's film for about $70. I guess if you really want it you can wait until there's a 20% off sale and then get the entire set for $56.

A friend of mine found "Caroline" on dvd on the english ebay so it's a zone 2. I have "The story lady" on dvd but it's a region 2 too... Have you thought about unlocking your dvd player curious george ? That's what I did to be able watching my RS dvds !! It's easy, there are codes on the web...

For my DVD player, these online-published hacks didn't work. But I recently bought a new DVD player anyway, and the store people where I bought it hacked it for me. Now it plays all regions.

Good thought about a second DVD player. One for Region 1 and one for region 2. Clever. I have The Mirror Crack'd, The Story Lady, and Caroline? all on VHS. At least it's something. Thanks for confirming that those Agatha Christie DVDs with Man In the Brown Suit are rather high-priced. I thought I was seeing things. Of course I can still remember my shock in the early days of VHS and seeing $80 price tags for one movie! Times have certainly changed.
