As long as you don't care if the buyer tries to copyright it as theirs and make more money off of it.... Otherwise, good luck to you!

Basically, it looks like someone is selling copies of their Fanzines and private collection of RS Fic, and considering people having been buying and selling Fanzines way before there was an internet good luck to them if there's someone who wants to buy it. As for someone making money off Barbara's or anyone's story, they could now if they wanted, if they could download it and print it off the net and found a market for it. Ace

Writing any fan fiction and just "publishing" it on the web is a "violation" of copyright and could get one in trouble. The fact is very few film, tv or book companies care as long as you're not selling your fan fiction for profit. And unless you announced you were doing it on a very populated website, or tried to copyright it, even if you did sell it they probably wouldn't know.
Now Gildrose (or whatever it's called now) that produces the Bond books did a "purge" of Bond fanfic several years ago because they didn't like the "competition" with their new books. That's why there's very little older Bond fic on the net. But there's new stuff on the net and no one's bothered with it.
The only reason recent Bond fan sites got in trouble with EON and MGM for copyright violation is because they re-published on their sites and forums parts of the DAD script, which was at the time under heavy lock and key. Basically, MGM/EON was pissed at the breach of security and slapped back with threats of lawsuits and made those particular sites (and no others) take down any and all copyrighted material, including images. Even so those sites still produce fan fic and no one seems to care.

Well, let me put it to you all this way. If you would like to make a contribution to my favorite charity, I would find some way to thank you for it. Please email me for details. What's next, by the way? People selling their fan experiences on the web? "You can claim this celebrity encounter as your own for five dollars." -- Barbara
