This has been listed before on other boards but what the heck it's been shown that DVD distibutors/ producers actually take note of the site. The site TVshows on DVD lists shows not yet on DVD that you'd like to see and has a place to vote. You have to regsiter to vote: name, country and e-mail. Unfortunately it doesn't list the new rights holder, Fox is still listed. tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=3518Currently it stands at: Overall Rank: 79th Interested in Buying:Season Set: 492 (96%) Best of: 96 (19%) Individual Episodes: 104 (20%) Total Number of Voters: 510 So less than half the votes that are on the long standing RS DVD petition: icycalm.topcities.com/petition.htm Ace

While at it, vote for other PB's series - Nancy Astor - tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=6135 and Noble House - tvshowsondvd.com/showinfo.cfm?showID=5882. Did I miss anything? I don't think so. Around the World in 80 Days is also there but it hardly seems worth voting since there are 2 releases already. I emailed the webmaster about the new owner. I doubt he knows who that is but he might suggest how to find them. I hope he replies faster this time - when I asked Gord to add Nancy Astor it took him a good fre months, but maybe he was just busy.

Yeah that and they have Noble House listed as 1998, just a decade off but who's counting. I read a recent article where the BBC has decided to open it's video archives and will make them available for download on the net. There was no mention about cost though. But Nancy Astor might become available that way. Ace

I'll try and get to it asap. Too tired now, but it's good to know we can vote for the DVD release.

Just so you know...Noble House is now available in the UK, which makes it Region 2 on the DVD scale.
And yes, for those with multi-regional players, I do have it. :-D

Xen is that the one you were bidding on from Australia on Ebay or is Noble House actually selling on say Amazon.co.uk?
I know The Fourth Protocol is coming out in October in Region 2 and that's almost enough to make me buy another DVD player, Noble House could cinch it.

Yeah, I searched too and bubkus on any of the main on line dealers. Until I see it offered officially for sale with some gaurunte it's an actual remastered print, and not some company slapping the same old murky VHS print onto a DVD, I'll pass. Ace

To be honest...I did get the tapes off of Ebay, but they came from the UK, and do have extras, not great ones (chapter selection, star filmographies), but there are extras.
I think this is legit. I haven't had time to play it yet.
