Nancy Eddy (the mother of Remington Steele Episode Guide for those who don't know (shame on you! )) posted it in another group. With her permission...

Just talked to a woman at FOX about RS on DVD. She told me that they had looked at releasing it to coincide with the release of DAD, but had decided they wouldn't sell enough units to pay them to do it. I pointed out to her that I believed she was wrong, and that PB is now an international star, thanks to Bond, and that people would probably buy it for that reason. I also told her that we in the US can't even SEE RS anymore on TV, since P(ax)e stopped airing it. I mentioned that little 'net joke about P(ax)e, too, telling her that they axed the program so badly that sometimes you couldn't even follow the plot.
She kinda laughed, and said she would put it on her list and that I should keep my eyes open. I pointed out to her that if they had enough people willing to buy "Son of the Beach", then SURELY they had enough people that would buy RS...
Her name was Heather. I don't have a last name, and it was a pain getting to her. I called the first time, and had to go through an operator, who put me in touch with the home video department, THAT person transferred me elsewhere, and THAT person barely let me get out that I wanted to talk to someone about putting a TV show on DVD before she transferred me to a mailbox- which was full. So I called BACK, and told the first operator that I'd already called and what had happened, and she asked me what show I was asking about. I told her that it was Remington Steele, and that FOX owns the rights. She thought I wanted to know if it was out on DVD already. I corrected her, said that I needed to talk to someone about IF and WHEN they might release it, and if not, WHY not. She connected me with Heather.

Yuliya's note. That number is in the States, so I doubt our international poster care to spend their money getting through to somebody at FOX. You might try writing, though. FOX addresses are:
E-mail Address: foxmovies@fox.com
Paper Mail Address:
20TH CENTURY FOX HOME VIDEO
P.O. BOX 900
BEVERLY HILLS, CA 90213-0900
And for those who can call - it can't hurt to mention some RS tapes go on eBay for up to $75-80 - I've seen it myself.
