Ladies and Gentlemen: Since I have started being more active in the Bond and Brosnan fandom I have gotten more than few people reaching out on Facebook and Instagram (maybe Twitter too, but I have closed my Twitter account) pretending to Pierce. I have chatted with a few of them until they have asked for money and I have turned them into the proper authorities.
The latest scam is to have his personal assistant (two in ten days) try to reach out to me, and to "prove" the they are legitimate they do screen caps of the text messages between them and Pierce on his official (blue check) IG account. Obviously I know these are fake too, and I am reporting them.
I am just curious: has anyone else gotten contacted by "Pierce" and what was the conversation like?
This should be good for a laugh...

Hi, about a year ago “Pierce” contacted me via Instagram - it started with questions about my favourite movies etc. which was mind of fun but then asked for my telephone Nr., which meant me ending the conversation immediately.

Did he ask you what were his favorite movies of his (which one fakey asked) or favorite movies in general?
One was asked me what book I was reading, and I told him I was reading Tea and Green Ribbons and he proceeded to ask me what it was about. So I told him without using the words "Evelyn" or "Ireland." He promised he would read it. LOL!

I have just had this same exact thing happen to me. I was contacted by an Anna Conley. Now at first I didn't believe it, so I started to look at the messages she was sending me, plus checking for factual links between Anna and Pierce. They both follow each other on their Instagram accounts. Here is my issue......not only did "Pierce Brosnan" give me permission to wear a skirt inspired by his artwork I hand made in public (because I did not think it was right for me to wear it in public with someone else's artwork motifs on the skirt) but he also gave me a very inspiring Eagle Award letter for my son through his "official" Telegram private chat (which isn't a group chat, it's only me and "Pierce"). I was also given an email address to book a private meet and greet with different tickets to choose from and pay for. He informed me that these tickets are for a meet and greet where I live (so the way I see it is that I am paying his fare to do the meet and greet where I live - which makes sense it's like I'm paying for an appearance - just like you pay for certain meet and greets at a Comic-Con).
Things have raised a few red flags. I first started looking up information about scammers on-line posing as Pierce (this is the only hit I got for him specifically) because he was pressuring me to pay the fee over time, instead of on my own time-table. Even in the emails with his "management" team, I was pressured to pay for the ticket right then and there so they could schedule the date, time and location.
Here is where things are really strange.......I like asking very interesting questions about projects people have done. I have done this with Michael Gross on Facebook......things about behind the scenes information, that were not explained in extra videos, and I always got very specific answers. However with this "Pierce Brosnan" I get a gamut of responses........some very detailed, and others where things are just repeated back to me in the messages. I purposely mixed up information about a license plate project he did for animal shelters (got this idea from reading Barbara's posts) and asked him how he liked painting the images he used, I was specific with colors and what was depicted.....I don't want to give out too much of what I said about it, but it was wrong and the response I got back was basically similar to Barbara's post about the book. The mis-information wasn't picked up on, in fact "he" agreed with it. I'm not finished with our conversations, only because I'm trying to gather more screenshots for when I decide to report this as a possible scammer.
I keep going back and forth trying to decide........is this real......or is someone trying to mess with me?

Nicollete, I am going to DM you and make sure you see this. There is no Anna Conley. She is a scammer. She is one of the people who has contacted me to set up a conversation with Pierce. Here's the best part, the same day, someone else also claiming to be part of his management team contacted me asked if I wanted to chat with Pierce. And then I asked Anna if this other person was a scammer, and she said yes, and report him. And I asked him if Anna was a scammer and he said yes, and report her. I reported them both to IG, which as usual did nothing.
I have in the past reported "the management" arranging the meet and greets to the banks that they claim the money goes to, and to Paypal. I have no idea what happened afetr that.
Sadly, this is most definitely a scam. Pierce can barely manage his IG. He does not have a telegram account, or any other account. I am afraid that letter was probably written by an AI machine.

Report immediately and block this user. Celebrities will never ask for money - even for one-on-one time that is not through a vetted show (Comic-con, etc.). And even then, you need to book time, pictures, autographs thru the official site of the event. This is a scam!!!

Just to keep everyone abreast of such things, because I know you love it....KIDDING!
I just reported my tenth fake Pierce Brosnan to Instagram, Google, and Paypal. The kicker is before I blocked him on IG, "Pierce" accused me of taking advantage of the Google chat we had. I almost wrote back to say that I did, so I could get the Paypal information to report him. I didn't though, I just blocked and reported him.
I think I will keep going until I block as many fake Pierce's as there are Dr. Who's.
