;D ;D ;D to this thread. I just had another thought: If PB is really going to play the gorilla, he will also have to bleach his hair. Or is that forbidden in method acting as well? My guess is, Pierce just jumped at the idea when he heard "South Africa". We know he prefers the warmer climates.

Hair? Oh as we see from Seraphim Falls, Matador etc -- the hair is more than fair game when it comes to changing it for characterization. Yes, but did he know he was going to an animated South Africa? ;D

What a cheap trick, not telling him about the animation. He is probably getting ready to re-locate to a nice villa somewhere over there. ;D So, it's a greenlight for hair changes from the Method acting department, but what about a much more serious matter--fan girl approval?

No official confirmation yet but according to a poster on IMDB Madeline Carroll has been cast as the daughter. I saw her on Lost and she's a fine little actress. imdb.com/name/nm1630992/

Sounds questionable at best. The wild animals would tear up the poor unsuspecting gorilla. Sounds like someone should make some script changes. Oh, but the writers are still on vacation strike, aren't they?

Dennis Haybert is playing Moses. Love him. 24 was never the same without him and I adored him as Dr. Theodore Morris (Now & Again) to me.

I read the same on the IMDB, that it was postponed. But no reasons were stated. The start date though has been pushed back several times already. It might be because of financing, the upcoming actors strike, or filming difficulties in South Africa.
