steele.bowserbabe.com/License will be up tomorrow sometime, with another episode each following day. For 22 days, I suppose... I'm really out of the RS loop these days, so if anyone wants to volunteer to spam me out to other forums or whatnot, believe me, I will not complain at all. >.> Look at the pretty! "Intubate, Miss Holt. You must intubate."

Hi Kelly! Your banner is gorgeous, and the first caps are tantalizing. I'm so jealous. I knew I shouldn't have pre-ordered. I probably won't have mine until Wed or Thur. I just spammed you to Steelewatchers on Yahoo. Ace

Why thank you.
I've been sitting here screwing with my avatar and signature and things... I should probably find something better to do. >.>

I'm sitting here laughing at your icon. And for the first time ever noticing Laura talking to that guy in that sparkly gold costume with the big fuzzy hat ... what the... how did I not notice that guy before? Ace

And my favorite "scene" isn't there, where she's "boxing" with the guy... I'm guessing they changed it after the first episode, but I'm too lazy to check right now.
Isn't the very first episode intro different...? Different text?
"What kind of text?" "Oooh, Swami needs more time."
And if anyone cares... because it seemed to come up a lot on the PAX forum...
Remington Steele Season One (aired 1982-83) Episode time range: 49:03 - 49:10
Wiseguy Season Two Part Two (aired 1988) Episode time range: 47:13 - 48:32
Babylon 5 Season One (aired 1994) Episode time range: 43:47 - 43:50
Hmmm. Poor Babylon 5... >.>
There's no good way of finding out how long the PAX episodes of Remington Steele really were, but I bet they were shorter than the primetime series at the same time, so...
Edit: Dang BBCode! Oh, and those times are based on the first disc in the DVD sets. I didn't really go through 6 discs per show to check all the times. >.>

God, and I spent the last few weeks occasionally wondering if I should buy the DVD set considering I never have the time to watch all other DVDs and episode tapes I already have. I did preorder it nevertheless, but it hardly matters whether I receive it this week or next. I'm glad you're back, Kelly.

Oh, Kelly, it's so nice to have you back. We've missed you and your great website. Just checked my tapes (my DVDs are enroute) and yes, the boxing photos are at the beginning of "Tempered" and the rest of season one, I assume. It's not on "License", the introductory episode. Also the "License" intro is different because supposedly she hadn't met the mysterious Mr. Steele yet, he was still an "invention without flesh". In "Tempered"'s intro, she talked about "the day *he* walked in with his blue eyes and mysterious past", :::swoon::: how he assumed RS's identity, she does the work, he takes the bows, and she doesn't even know his real name. In looking at the intros, it just occurred to me that neither Murphy or Bernice are seen in the opening pictures. Ummm, looks like the writing was on the wall for their quick departures. Ouch. Love the photos, especially Laura's lovely hair and Steele's lovely camera. So are you telling us that we're getting up to 9 additional minutes of commercial times on prime time TV since the 1980s? I remember the early days when each hour an hour show had only 4 minutes or less of commercial time. So glad to have you back!!!

Oh, cool! More DVD caps! But isn't that shirt he wears in the camera shot scary? It looks like he might start yodelling any minute. Edit: Okay, shirt compensated for by adorable freckles and sunburn on nose.

I've always thought the shirt was a nice touch, disguise-wise.

Only when he's "hiding" behind the camera. It doesn't go well with that gorgeous face.

My mom: "What kind of license is it?" Me: "I don't know. It's a... 'I'm Lying To You' license."

Ah, yes, and the rivalry begins..... Love the photo with Murphy. I checked my copy of the PAXed version of "Illustrated Steele" that has no commercials and the time from beginning of intro to end of final credits was 42:44 minutes. A full six plus minutes shorter than the original prime time version. Remember, they discussed this sort of chopping in "Stronger Than Steele", the episode with Atomic Man. When I had the chance to sit down to watch the PAXed episodes as they aired, I was able to eliminate the commercials during the recording process. Sadly, I couldn't do it for every episode.

I'm definitely how. >.>
You and Piper should get together. She's got that whole who/you thing going on. Who... how... that's like a third of the question words!
I don't actually have anything useful to say. I'll just go away now. <.<
