That's mean to put a picture like that in the paper. But then again, also PB is only human. Considering the millions of gorgeous images of him though, this one will quickly fade into oblivion.

The thing is you know this paparazzi with his telephoto lens probably took 100s of photos within seconds. The one The Daily Mail wanted was the worst one they could find to match their headline, that's the way the tabloids are.

It seems to me he's just fooling around. The photo is taken in motion, too. Maybe he's just saying, "Hey, I can make the stomach thaaaat big!" ;D
He looked perfectly normal in Shattered. And in all those recent candid shots.

THE MIRROR: PIERCE IS LICENSED TO TRILL
09/19/2007
BOND star Pierce Brosnan goes from a killer to a triller as he belts out a duet with Meryl Streep.
The giggling pair took the mike at a pre-production party for their new movie Mamma Mia.
They delighted the rest of the cast and crew with a series of Abba hits, including SOS, at the bash on the Greek island of Skopelos.
And just to make sure they kept the beat, Abba star Benny Andersson - executive producer of the screen version of the hit musical - accompanied them on piano.
The film, being shot in London and Greece, is a big departure for Hollywood tough guy Pierce.
But insiders are already tipping it to be a massive hit when it is released in October next year. Maybe they should rename it Goldsinger.

Thank you, Brosnanluvvvvr, it's a cool picture , but you can't link it like that. I've taken a liberty of saving it and uploading to my photobucket album. If you have a linkable space and want to re-post it yourself, I'll remove it, but for now here it is:

From an August 20th interview with ABBA's Björn Ulvaeus in Berliner ZeitungExcerpt- English translation: Therein Meryl Streep plays also, which already proved her disarming singing arts in Robert Altmans "Prairie Home Companion". How does it stand with Pierce Brosnan? From where did you know that he can sing? He sings outstanding. We knew from an Irish film, where he sang in a pub. Yes, and Meryl Streeps version of "The Winner of takes it all" is really unbelievable.

They must really have fun there in Greece. I bet "The Boss" is already getting jealous--he never looks quite that good.

Daily MailPS Actor Colin Firth is in danger of losing his longstanding fantasy image as wholesome Mr Darcy for something altogether more camp. The 47-year-old Pride And Prejudice star has just returned from the Greek islands, where he has been making the film version of the Abba stage show Mamma Mia! with Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan. In London to promote his appearance in another movie, based on Blake Morrison's memoir And When Did You Last See Your Father?, Firth confesses to being a newly converted Super Trouper. "I was never an Abba fan, but 30 years later when I hear the songs I am animated by some insidious power," he says. "It is hard not to want to slip on some Lycra and get up and burst into song. It is obviously the screaming queen in me waiting to get out." =============================== Oh dear. I really hope it's just Colin in the lycra.

Oh dear... oh dear... oh dear... icWales: Welsh designer’s Bond encounter (9-30-07)Sep 30 2007 by Nathan Bevan, Wales On Sunday YOU would never have caught James Bond singing ABBA songs karaoke-style wearing a pair of chocolate PVC trousers. But, thanks to Welsh style guru Timothy Everest, next summer fans of the former 007 Pierce Brosnan will get to see their super-spy hero as they’ve never seen him before. Everest, the world-renowned bespoke tailor from Pembrokeshire who kitted out David Beckham on his wedding day and dressed Tom Cruise for the 2000 Oscars, has been busy designing the glam outfits for the film-version of stage musical Mamma Mia. The movie, which features all the Swedish pop legends’ ’70s hits, sees super-trouper Brosnan star alongside Meryl Streep and Colin Firth. Brosnan is one of a group of men summoned to a Greek island by a young woman searching for her father. But, according to the 46-year-old tailor, it wasn’t just the thought of his character unexpectedly becoming a daddy that left Brosnan shaken and stirred. “My last memory of him was a couple of weeks ago. He was standing there in my East London office trying on some chocolate-coloured PVC trousers,” said the Milford Haven master stitcher. “He was looking back at me over his shoulder with a wry smile, as if to say, ‘This is not very James Bond at all’. But Timothy was full of praise for the Hollywood heart-throb. “Pierce is the consummate gent, but he’s not afraid to play with his public image as a bit of a smoothie and likes taking the mickey out of himself, too.” Brosnan, currently belting out tunes in the 100-degree heat on the picturesque isle of Skiathos, hopes his singing debut won’t turn out to be his own personal Waterloo. “When people ask me what I am doing next and I say Mamma Mia!, a look of shock comes across their faces,” said the 54-year-old Irish actor, whose performance is said to include a sexy Springsteen-style serenade. “It’s usually at that point they ask, ‘Do you sing?’ And so far I seem to be getting away with it.”

Trust, Ace! You must trust! Remember, I mentioned this earlier on. At the end of the stage show, there's this incredible production number where they all where these skin tight day-glo costumes as they dance and strut their stuff! My understanding is...the production number is in the movie. This crew all have class though. I'm sure it will all be fine! Chocolate PVCs don't sound too bad. In the show, the actor playing Sam wore this garrish orange outfit! Donna
