I have this on watch, but after the FUN I had with them last time (NOT!), I would be hard pressed to bid again.
Still, those are great!

I love them, but I guess I'd have to stuff socks in the toes if I wanted to wear them. On the other hand, who would wear a work of art? I just can't afford such things. cg

I'd have to wear a couple of pairs of extra thick socks, but as you say who would wear them? The first time I had to step in a slush puddle or some car splashed my boots I'd be spazzing! If these are bought they'd have to be placed in some kind of glass sealed case. Then again they'd make quite fashion statement paired with the previous PB designed umbrella. Ace

The design is gorgeous!
I have no doubt that any woman would look positively fetching with those rubber booties on, but they are really too precious to wear.

In a different material, one hopes. But that would be quite cool! cg

At the current bid of US $1,325.00 with one day to go, I'd say they were definitely not the kind of boots to wear.

Really? Why not? Have you never read In Style? They feature even more expensive shoes, I think, and those are boots, after all; boots usually cost more, especially tall boots.

In this case it's not the boots that are costing that much but the artwork on them, and that shouldn't be slushed on in puddles. Ace

Ace Personally I couldn't pay $1325 for an original Leonardo da Vinci painting to hang on my wall, much less a pair of boots, but since it's for a good cause, I say more power to them! I think Ace is right though...only a fool would pay that kind of money and then take a chance on Pierce's art work getting messed up by actually wearing them. Ellen

And it's also great to see that his designed boots are leading by far with bids and the current price against the other ones.

They should lead, they're easily the best designed pair with the most time, effort and skill placed in them. Final and winning bid: US $2,025.00
