Thanks for all the instructions on how to find things on my computer. Believe me, my eyes were . I was so glad when I saw the link to the Google desktop search. Now I don't have to figure out what you guys were trying to teach me. Thanks for the dance clip. Makes me want to check my PAXed version. Detective work, you know. Thanks again. I'm dancing, too.

Thanks for the dance clip. Makes me want to check my PAXed version. Detective work, you know. Go ahead. And why not? All of us proud owners of TCA on DVD watched it on broadcast channels, didn't we?

Thank you for all the medi files, Ace! I'm so happy because I've never seen Pierce talking with his "original" voice before.

Thanks so much for the Leading Hollywood clip! I enjoy the book enormously, and I always wanted to see the video.

I have a significant chunk of the TIFF Matador Press Conference, culled from Rogers.com and the generous clip donations of new member respectanimals. I've placed it up at Spread It.com where it sould remain for infinite downloads as long as the clip is is downloaded at least once every 2 weeks. At 30mb TIFF Matador Press Conference in wmv forms clocks in at at about 14 min. Enjoy! Ace

I hate to be dorky again: Is this supposed to be streaming?

I hate to be dorky again: Is this supposed to be streaming? Um no. You click on the links and go to the site and you can download it from there just as with YouSEndIt. I haven't tried a sustained download from Spread-It so I don't know yet if you need a special download tool as with YouSEnddit to resume downloads. I've added a couple of downloads- the talk at the cafe (3.7mb in wmv) is now in available in english (thanks again to respectanimals) and I've uploaded to official trailer (20mb in Quicktime) members.fortunecity.com/mbe/matador/index.htmlAce

Damn. I just checked the links and for some reason the Trailer clip does not download but instead opens up in a another window. I wonder if the nature of it being a streaming mov is what causes this. Very strange.
*sigh*

Very strange. *sigh* Ace It must be a new kind of file. The initial download from Moviebox acted weird on me too. Usually, like with the LOA clips, streaming files of that kind save to Temporary Internet Files, but this one didn't. I could play it over and over, but it was nowhere to be found on my computer.

I have prof quicktime and it usually allows me to save streaming files but this one didn't. But I was able to download it using FireFox (love this browser, so much better than IE) which is fantastic downloading some imbeded photos and files when using the "View Page Info" option.

Yet another argument in favour of getting Firefox. I heard much praise for it from many people. I also used it once on someone's computer and it worked great. Edit: I let WMP download the Matador café clip and it saved to Temp. Internet Files. Suppose that will work for the other clips as well. Weird, but if I end up with the clip on my harddrive, I won't complain.

Everytime I download media from the internet if it's not automatically streaming my software offers me a choice to stream or download to hardrive. Maybe your software is set to some kind of streaming default. Ace

Very strange. *sigh* Ace I just tried downloading the trailer again, and this time it works beautifully. There's the little download window and WMP did not open. I did not change any video settings, though.
