A recently posted taken photo, but one appropriate for this day, the 25th anniversary of Lennon's death.

A very unique collectible: Ebay: Glasgow-Citizens Theatre PhotobooksFor sale are two large format photobooks of a very sepcial theatre company - the Glasgow Citizen's Theatre in it's Golden Age - the late 1970's and early 80's where the designs were largely by Philip Prowse and under the artistic directorship of Giles Havergal and Robert David McDonald. The company eschewed drab naturalistic drama for its own kind of expressionism staging a wide repertoire from European classics by Goldoni to adaptations of pot boilers such as No Orchids For Miss Blandish. The latter included in the cast a young Pierce Brosnan. Amongst the cast lists you will also find Tim Roth, Gary Oldman, Ciaran Hinds (recently Caesar in the BBC's Rome and Rupert everett. The Citizens gave many young actors their first break. These large format books (16" x 11") of black and white photos show to great effect the vision of Prowse, one of the UK's foremost theatre designers. The books are in G+ condition with some wear and creasing to the front covers and the central portions of photos have come loose from the staples in one book. They remain a wonderful record of a unique theatre company.

He looks like Clark Gable in the picture--the clothes, the hair, the neatly trimmed moustache...

I set the first photo as my wallpaper but truth be told it may be too gasp inducing overwhelming. I just want to stare at it and not do any work. Ace

Tell me about it! I just sat here staring at it for quite a while. It's amazing, almost like you're really standing next to him.

Cool! I especially like #5, but using it at work may constitute sexual harassment, and at home - spell family trouble.
