Darn it, I got called away in the middle, but I'm taping it. So far I like it* (although I'm not the person to catch possible errors), and I'm very pleased with how much they had positive to say about Remington Steele. Unfortunately, Stephanie Zimbalist's absence seemed a little conspicuous to me. Too bad. Now I'll have to wait until the whole thing is over to finish watching it. Gee, do you think he ever got to play Bond? ;D I can't bear the suspense. cg *except for that darned moustache!

I didn't expect to see SZ, heck I was pretty surprised to see her in the E! Bio they did a couple of years ago. But his most adored RS co-star Doris was there, that was a nice addition as was actual commentary from what I assumed was a RS producer/writer but I wouldn't know since I had no picture so I couldn't read the name! Everything seemed to be about right except some dates here and there, like 3 years at the Drama Center not 2 as they mentioned; the year he did The Decievers in India and Cassie became ill was 1987 not 1988 (that was the year it was released) etc. Ace

I haven't had a chance to watch the entire thing yet, just caught a glimpse, but the RS producer/writer Ace is talking about, the one who was highly complimentary about PB (I wish I remembered the exact words, they're worth it) was probably Michael Gleason; I'm only saying "probably" because I'm not sure he was the only one featured from RS. Psst, Ace, your monopoly is over.

I was trying to match names to voices and only got so far as Doris, Bron and I think Nancy Ellis. It never ceases to amuse me, the recounting how NBC was oh so helpful and eager to work around his Bond schedule and have him still do RS... how BIG of them considering it was already cancelled, threatened to sue him for $20m, and they kept him from Bond then cancelled the show anyway. Take this job and shove it indeed. ;D And Doris talking about his fan mail... all those women and probably quite a few men too. Made me think of Lauryn's story. Ace

;D ;D ;D Ditto. And yes, Nancy Ellis was there. I didn't see Bron; I only watched about 5 minutes so far.

Yes, Michael Gleason was the one on, and quoted extensively with great things to say about PB.
What is "Lauryn's story?" Dare I ask?
