I got the T-shirt...I got the T-shirt. You know what we need next? A journal with his art on the cover. -- B

I'd love for him to do prints, but he seems to feel about his painting the way I feel about my writing -- for pleasure, not for sale.

But I'm sure people nevertheless appreciate that you two are sharing what you create. I sure do.

He was asked to do an exibition a few times but said it was his hobby, not his work. He did sell a few paintings, I think, mostly for charity. I'm glad he doesn't sell prints, though; I've always thought it was a little tacky.

I took the best from his homepage and put it on the wall. One day friends came to visit me and they asked me what kind of paintings are hanging on my wall. They liked them very much ;D They could not believe that Pierce painted them

How did you do that? I mean, the pics on his homepage are rather small to get a nice print-out quality from. Or is your printer just not as crappy as mine? Wait, you don't have to answer that....

**Edit: Pierce's comments to the Behind-the-scenes pics are priceless! I was laughing my head off! I'm also proud of him for speaking out on all the issues that are important to him.

If I'm not mistaken, I think they've recently edited out something in Pierce's introductory remarks, on his home page. Didn't it used to say that there would be monthly Q&A? It's gone now. I shouldn't complain, as there has been an explosion of such good stuff in the past month on his website.
Nevertheless I am disappointed. I had been preparing questions, getting them ready for when the website opened up the floor to Q&A. For instance, I was going to ask: "Pierce, when did you first..." - NAW, can't ask him THAT. OK, then: "Pierce, which type do you prefer to wear..." NOO, too crude. I know: "Pierce, afterwards, do you..." Stop that. Get your mind out of the gutter. [slaps self]
Maybe it would be better for all concerned if he didn't take my questions.

Last night I saw the Q&A still up there, but I seem to recall that the late great lady who edited the PB Chronicles had to literally pin him down so he would do his part for it. Perhaps the Mods have yet to learn the fine art of the square knot. My question for him is, "Pierce, if there was a dessert island, one where the inhabitant can only have two things there, after Barbara Broccoli mysteriously arrived there, what you be nice enough to send your ex boss?" Hey IC, I'd rather know the answer to the boxers or briefs question, (but if Nomads told us anything, it's briefs), I'd REALLY love to hear his answer to that one. As a matter of fact, that gives me an idea.....everyone head over to the Off topic section please.... -- Barbara -- Barbara

Knowing what I Have heard...it might be kitkat land.
Everyone sing....

Heck, no. I want classier goodies than that on my dessert island! If the whole island is going to be dedicated to desserts, I want the ones off the cart at the restaurants to which I don't go because I can't afford them. ;D cg
