My apologies for posting an article (ahem) from The National Enquirer; this is kind of funny. Half a mile off the coast of Hawaii, a sailor on a fishing boat spotted a guy hailing desperately from a stranded waverunner, peered through binoculars and gasped: "It's . . . James Bond!" Sure enough, it was "007" Pierce Brosnan -- who'd been cruising offshore when his runabout died. After hauling him aboard, the fishermen heard a Coast Guard alert on the missing star -- and radioed them to inform worried wife Keely that her spy had been spied! www.nationalenquirer.com/stories/gossip.cfm?instanceid=58933---------- What is a waverunner? A small motor boat? Probably not. It sounds like a surfing board with a motor but I've never heard of such thing. Anyone knows?

I don't know, being fairly landlocked here.
Do you suppose this is a true story, considering the source?

LOL This is really funny! ;D
And if it really did happen, I'm glad that he was found and nothing happened to him.

As funny and as sad as this may sound, I wouldn't be completely surprised if something like that happened to him... I mean, it is known that the man is something of a klutz

Yuliya....a wave runner is just like a jet ski. They're a lot of fun. We ride em all the time when vacationing in FL. One should stay close to the shore on them though, if PB couldn't be seen by any one on land...then he was way to far out. They tend to break down a lot and if you don't pay attention you'll run out of gas.

Cars, horses, waverunners.... the man evidently can't be fully trusted with anything fast that moves. ::waves hi to Piper!:: Ace

Hi Piper! Nice to see you here. It's that "just like riding a bike, Laura" thing from Maltese, eh? Thanks.
