The first part of three is up at Youtube. I assume the other two will follow. It's 8 min and about 20mb
Episode 1: Pre Production
Film Focus gives an insight into the making of the 19th James Bond film, The World Is Not Enough. The script writing, casting choices, location scouting and massive set construction at Pinewood Studios are all covered in this episode.
Also a short bit from Entertainment Tonight on TND:

That's what I get out of being too lazy to check. From what I've seen online, it' not the one on my DVD.

Sorry, Sparkling I misunderstood...I meant the ultimate edition. The one that is selling now. -----------
just checked and no, it's not the one on the ultimate edition either. Actually the making of on the special edition and the one on the ultimate are the same.

The description says Film Focus: making of TWINE. Looks like a TV special that aired in the UK.
So as an owner of the Ultimate Editions, were the new extras worth it? I'm pretty much only interested in the press conference stuff and if there are new interviews etc. From what I've heard of the deleted scenes they seem to be a bit sparse and not much Pierce as Bond

Ace, I've watched the extras only once so I don't remember them very well but I can say that all in all I liked them even if I'd have preferred some more press conferences above all about Goldeneye. I really want to see the one in which Pierce is announced as the new Bond and I remember that's a part of it in Goldeneye dvd but it doesn't show anything actually. And even if the video quality is not always so good in the extras, expecially in the deleted scenes. I rewatched the extras in TWINE yesterday so I can tell something about them: IMAGES GALLERY: some images I've never seen before but very few ones. HONG KONG PRESS CONFERENCE: to me it's not worth, Pierce doesn't say nothing new to me except that they were already thinking of DAD with him. What really annoyed me about the press conference video is that too often some scenes from the movie are added. It's only worth to see Pierce wearing sunglasses with yellow lens ). If you like I can write down what Pierce says. DELETED SCENES Meeting Renard: it only shows that the character of Maria Grazia Cuccinotta is working for Renard (there's a dialogue between the two of them) Bond tries to stop King: Apted says he wanted the Bilbao scene to be the opening scene but for all the others it didn't worked so he deleted part of the Bond trying to save King in order to be able to have both of them as the opening scenes. The original misses some Pierce's running and few words with M. Thing we do for England: the part with the doctor is a bit longer and when Bond goes out he puts his bandanging on the armour outside saying "The things we do for England. Carry on." THE THAMES BOAT CHASE: you can see it with different views. JAMES BOND DOWN RIVER: shows what was involved in filming the Thames chase. I found it quite interesting. 007 MISSION CONTROL: there are specials about 007, women, Q branch, etc. I found particularly interesting the one about exotic locations commented by Samantha Fox. Then there are some other specials (Bond cocktail and the Tribute to D. Llewelyn) and you can see some sccenes form alternative views, and then there's the making of the music video.

Thanks Too bad about the TWINE press conference, why bother to show it just to show part of it and then put clips all through it? I think I've seen the yellow sunglasses in other photos. I thought the GE Ultimate was supposed to have the announcing press conference. It's not there at all? Or is it cut up like the TWINE one? Or is it all about Campbell as every other extra on the GE Ultimate seems to be about. Ace

Oh yes it's there, as a part of another documentary and lasts about 30 SECONDS.... I'm still so disappointed about it , they just show the announcement, Pierce doesn't say a single word. The press conference listed on the box refers to the pre-production one, where the all cast is presented. About this one I can't remember if it's complete or not, I remember Pierce preparing for his entrance...a bit nervous and silly

Here are 2 more videos from the Goldeneye UE. They are huge files because I've no idea how to rip them into smaller size yet or just rip the sections with only Pierce in them. I'll leave that to Ace the 1st link is the press event with the whole cast and the 2nd video shows a bit on Pierce when he was announced, but mostly, it features Martin Campbell. www.sendspace.com/file/l7u8fowww.sendspace.com/file/87tmvn

If you have Windows XP etc you should have a Windows File Editor included in your software that will cut up files and even convert to a wmv format. I'm not sure if they work on mpgs though or just avi and it's forms. If you'd like I also have a wmv converter I can e-mail you or give you a link to. Just PM me on the board. Anyhow I have the first downloaded and will have to wait until tonight to download the second. Thank You so much. It really would have been nice if they'd shown the actual press conf for '95 and not just behind the scenes and a montage of in the crowd press snippets -- though I really did like the behind the curtain bits. Does anyone have the International Teaser for TWINE? Not the US one or the full trailer. There's a shot in the Film Focus: Making of TWINE documentary when they show a bit of the teaser and Bond and Electra going up her stairs and kissing -- that was cut from the other teasers and trailers and the film. The scene takes place right after the Casino and is transition to what happens in the bedroom. Supposedly TWINE was about 20-30 minutes longer originally and what was cut was much of the dramatic scenes. A real pity considering the director and the strength of most of the cast. I'd love to see that original cut of the film and it's stinks that the deleted scenes they chose to give were so unsubstantial.

Thanks Ace. Yeah maybe I can try out the WMV converter and see how it works out. How do you rip just certain scenes that you want but still plays/merged into one video?

The wmv converter won't cut scenes just convert them and give you options as to quality/size in different formats. But Windows Media Editor will cut wmv files for you and windows media converter will convert from other media sources and sizes (though I don't think vob and mpg files but I'm not sure since it's been awhile I used it for that. I have Nero) Windows Movie Maker will allow you to slice up videos and merge clips. Those Windows programs come free and bundled with any XP program.
