Back to Stephanie's new movie, I sure hope it's eventually released on DVD because I don't have cable TV. Thanks for telling us about it and for the picture. From the trailer, it looks like the college friend is actually the blonde girl, Thea Gill, and the one who is killed is the dark haired girl. Dean Cain's role looks iffy - is he a good guy, or is he trouble? Stephanie, of course, is the all-knowing professor. That's what I think.

Just a brief reminder that Stephanie's new movie with Dean Cain, Truth debuts tomorrow night on Lifetime at 9:00 pt/et running opposite the Golden Globes where Pierce is nominated for Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical Movie for his anti Steele/Bond turn as Julian in The Matador.
Additionally, here's a link to some pictures of Stephanie at a play opening in LA this past week:

Will anyone who record the film, put clips and/or screencaptures on the net for the poor oversea fans?

So, how's the movie? We non-cable people and overseas folk want to know.

If they have they haven't said so here. I don't get that channel either. The IMDB has a few reviews about it: imdb.com/title/tt0491729/

I didn't see it. I'm not sure I was going to, but I didn't have a chance - what once was Lifetime channel on my satellite, is now something else I didn't normally get as a part of my package, only with a caption saying Lifetime demanded unreasonalbe rate increase and could not be caried any longer. Whatever. Maybe they've resolved it by now. I've never been a big fan of Lifetime movies. Since not many saw the movie here, I think I'll re-post a few reviews from another group. I hope the authors wouldn't mind sharing. From Pat Christensen (of Pat's Pen, known to fanfic fans as one of the authors of unfinished Steele Ties Don't Break): I hate to say it, but I watched it and was singularly unimpressed. It was full of cliche'd characters. The actors did the best they could with the material, but I felt like it was smacking me over the head with a sledgehammer, and the "mystery" of the murder wasn't handled well at all, I thought. SZ did her level best with the material and turned in a strong performance, but the movie itself? Not that good. From Lorie: Yes, I saw the movie and was disappointed. I didn't like the ending, either. She looked so different, gained some weight (haven't we all), and didn't look too well. But, it was still good to see her again. And another one from her: The film was shown again today. I was not impressed with Stephanie or the plot of the film, terrible writing. She looked very tired, and not too enthused about being there. She put on a lot of weight, too. So, I was very disappointed. And here is a picture - img65.imageshack.us/img65/8804/sztruth5cy.jpgI'm afraid, that's it.

Thanks for the reviews, even though they are not stellar. Thanks for the picture of SZ and whatever. One thing about the weight issue.............are people really expecting SZ to be the thin young lady she was during RS??? Good Lord, most people gain weight as they get older -- including me! I saw her in person recently and she definitely doesn't appear "fat". Heavier than Laura Holt, yes. But certainly not fat or even terribly heavy. Actually, she looked thinner than I thought she would. I think she actually looks better in person than she does onscreen. Not good for a film and TV actor to hear, but great for a stage actor! She definitely looks better in person than she does in pictures and on film (tape). It's true!! Thanks for the reviews, even if they aren't favorable. I searched for the pictures of SZ with Linda Purl linked above, but there no longer available. I lost them with my computer crash. I did a random search for both of them and I found this: www.lvol.com/bios/e195.htmlBeing an "I Love Lucy" fan, this article taps in on several of my passions: SZ, PB by way of Manions and his co-star Linda Purl, Desi Arnaz Jr and Dean Martin. How interesting. Take about 6 degrees!! The dates aren't correct for this year, though.
