You'll probably have to beat off the people who have been looking for the theme from Punky Brewster. cg

Only if they can play instruments. And considering the only copy our library has is readily available - they probably can't.

I'm trying to envision a musical book on American 80's TV shows being found at a German library and am drawing a blank. Ace

Ouch! Xenos, sorry, I forgot you lived in Germany. I'll request the book from the library, scan the pertinent pages, and upload the image. Will that do?

That would you do for me Yuliya? The tip with the library isn´t bad, i´ve seen songbooks with tv themes but i live in a very small town and I´m not sure if they have such a rare thing.... Thanks for your offer Yuliya, but that would be too much work for you It´s not that important and I hope I´ll find it somewhere on the net (or in our little library..) thanks again! ***hugs Yuliya*** (hah, RS Fans are the best ;D )

It's not a lot of work. I've requested the item to be sent to the local branch of our library; they'll email me when it arrives. I'll pick it up, scan it, and upload. I'll even make a copy for myself - we want to buy a piano eventuallly and I have some notes anyway. (In Russian this kind of preparation is called "nailing a wall hook for a racoon coat," racoon coat being something very expensive.) Keep your fingers crossed, though, just in case - if the item appears in the catalogue, it doesn't mean it's not lost or stolen in real life.

Yo, Xenos! Just happened across a piano/vocal/chords of a boatload of TV themes at our library, too. I'll see if I can track it down, although I'm not sure how I'll get it to you.

CG, don't bother, I got the chords on Tuesday. The book didn't scan too well because it kept falling from my scanner, so since I was going to scan those pages for myself anyway, I decided to scan copies, but when yesterday I found a minute to do that, the machine was busy. I'll upload scans in a couple of days.

Okay, thanks. But since I've already put the book on hold, I'll go ahead and look through it myself. Xenos. let me know if what Yuliya sends you doesn't work out and I'll see what I can do.

Why not? I've been to Germany; they make great cakes, you know. (Seriously, when I was there, I would often lunch on a slice of cake and a cup of coffee at food places located on the top floors of large department stores. The food didn't look too enticing but cakes... OK, I don't know, maybe the Germans didn't think much of them but after living in OH for several years I could appreciate the difference. ) (Oh, poor CG, you live so close to OH... I'll let you know when the cake arrives.)
