Hey there, I'd register if I could figure out why it wouldn't take my name. Anybody heard any more lately about rumors that the series will be showing up again one of these days? We all hope for it less (p)axed than before, but can we hope for it in any form? Curious George ::waves to Ace and Yuliya::

CG maybe it doesn't recognize names with gaps between them maybe curious_george will take better. Or maybe someone else already has the user name. It says the registered username is "used only for identification by our boards. You can use special characters after logging in, by changing your displayed name in your profile." So it looks like you can register as any name it accepts and change it later. As for adding posts there's no function for that, in fact I don't even see a rank function though maybe it's hiding from me. And I haven't heard any news on the re-aring of RS but it's been over a year it has to happen soon... doesn't it? Ace

CG, I also had a problem registering - at first I typed everything and was told there was some kind of error, wrong password, I think, and then, when I came back, it said such user already existed and I needed to come up with another name. If that's your problem, just say you lost your password and the board will re-send it to you.

It wouldn't even let me register to begin with, so I never got to a password. It said I had characters I couldn't use or something, so I kind of assumed it was the space, everything else being letters. Guess I'll try it with the underscore. As for the original question, of course *I* think it's about time to bring it back - don't we all? cg

Nope, the underscore didn't work, either.
Ace - is there an "edit this post" function on here?

There's modify but you can't as a guest, you have to be registered so you can only modify your own posts.
If Yuliya had the same problem it must just be the system, having to register until they accept a name. After you do that you can go into your profile and change it to wahtever you want.
Ah you've made it as cg, now you can change to Curious George in your profile if you want to. (I think)

From my experience I can say that when there's a new Bond film out, some channel will pick up RS again. At least that's how they do it in Germany. Steele waiting for it to happen though. Want to borrow one of my tapes, CG?

CG has at least ONE tape that she can watch. That I know. How they do things in Germany makes more sense than how they do it in the USA sometimes. Really. PAX-TV cancelled its RS airings in June 2002, the same year of the Bond 40th anniversary AND the RS 20th anniversary. Go figure. If I were running things, I would be airing all the PB films and TV shows I could get my hands on AND I'd be producing RS on DVD. I'd act while the iron was hot. One thing I would NOT have done would be releasing "Evelyn" so close to the time of the BOND DAD release, and it would not have been released into a limited market. It never was shown in my area and I had to wait until it came out on DVD. Poor marketing. I realize they were hoping for an award nomination, but I think it would have stood a better chance as a 2003 release. But what do I know. I also had trouble registering my name as Myrtle Groggins. So when I eliminated the space, I was able to register. I guess the system is temperamental. I just haven't gone in to correct it yet.
