Just stopped by to say hello, and found I'm not too far off to wish Lauryn a happy belated, I hope! I'll have to catch up on the Topkapi thread when I have a spare moment (ha ha ha ha ha). Anybody want to feel old? CB just got accepted to her first choice college.  Hope the few folks around here who remember me are all doing well. (Love the laughing-hard-beating-on-the-floor icon, Ace!) |

Are you suggesting my daughter shouldn't have been accepted?!  Hmmm...uncut TCA...hadn't thought about it. Of course, who's to say what she watches when I'm not at home? Heck, I'm home more than she is, what with school, working four days a week, community acitivities, etc. Let's say this: I'm not going to stop her from watching it, but I'm not going to get it out and say, "I think it's time for you to watch an R-rated movie at home. Make some popcorn and have a seat."  |

Thank you, thank you. I'm trying to get back to showing up here occasionally (for the odd run-by fruiting, as it were - odd being the operative word). [Sadly, age does not seem to be a cure for bizarre cognitive processes.] Anyone want to volunteer to sum up PB's current works in progress for me in, say, a paragraph or two? I know, that's asking a lot, but if I tried to actually read everthing on here that I've missed, my family would might miss me. Yes, CG, I could use a run-by of all PB's latest works, too. I tried to read the threads, but my head began swimming. Hope you had a great birthday, Christmas, New Year holiday, whatever. Congratulations to CB. I hope she'll be attending a university near me.  It's a great place to attend college, plus there are tons of perks. May best to her know matter where she goes. Don't feel bad. My "baby" sister's son is in his sophomore college year and she's 16 years younger than moi! Talk about feel OLD.  In fact, she's already trying to decide what her non-existent grandchildren are going to call her. I mean, really! A little someone to make you feel younger. Enjoy!  |
