Happy Birthday, YS! Keep that martini shakin'! (Nice gams!)
I hope Mr Bond can keep up with you.
That Esquire cover is effin' brilliant! I trust you gave Ace her 10%.
And for those in the know, Lynn Darling is my pseudonym, darling! (Julian, luv, you burned up my little microphone!) <large wink>

Lauryn I was thisclose to changing that to your name-- but I couldn't match the font (and already having a tough time there) and I thought I would then have to change all the other names (at least on that side) and creativity was waning.

Your creativity wane? I should say never. It was a stroke of genius. ( We've secretly replaced this magazine cover with Folgers crystals. Let's see who notices!) LOL!!!! And actually, I'm getting rather fond of my pseudonym. Lord knows, I just might need it considering some of things I've been up to with my keyboard lately.

Used to it eh? Then I guess I shouldn't have changed it.

Used to it eh? Then I guess I shouldn't have changed it. Hey, no fair playing the fame card! You know that the way to a girl's heart is through her byline. Hmmm... Marcel Proust, a closet Steele addict... Some of us have been saying that for years.<wink>

So I've heard -- which is why he just trumped St Augustine for the assignment.

Thank you so much for the wishes and the lively discussion. Sparkling, great postcard! (Who is the woman in the background and why is she making faces behind my Pierce's back? ) Ace, the magazine cover is super. It must be a NYC edition; the ones in my puritan havitat are a lot more conventional. Would you mind picking a copy for me? I'll pay you back, of course.

Sparkling, great postcard! (Who is the woman in the background and why is she making faces behind my Pierce's back? ) You're welcome. I had hoped the frame would cover up this woman enough so she wouldn't bother you. But not she got her punishment: I removed her.

Have the best of all possible birthdays -- but you are the Taipan so that goes without saying. May all your wishes come true (and I hope that the SMA can get that centerfold staple out of his navel afterwards).
Maybe I'll have that Julian Noble pop-up book ready for you by this same date next year...
