I have been looking over these photos from Dreams of Steele. I could be wrong but in the show that aired, the camera never shot from the angle that the photos seem to be taken from. And the edges around the shots have been edited to be blurred giving the illusion that it is in a dream. I bring this up because I thought that these were just stills from the aired show. I don't know why but I am sort of curious about if these shots are candid photos that were taken in between scene shootings or just in general, does anyone have any theories/know any facts about these photos? I can't find them anywhere else but on this site. It's so frustrating because Remington Steele is such a mystery itself....it's not like shows like M*A*S*H or The Brady Bunch where information is easy to find. To find information, you have to dig deep.

My understanding that there was sometimes a publicity photographer on set during the shoots. These (and others from the series) were probably snapped during one of the many takes or set-ups for a shot. Sometimes they were even staged a bit. That's the reason for the different angle of the shots than what we see on the dvds - the photographer was not exactly where the film camera was.
