Yes and no. That's still only a tie for the most wins. He needs to kick butt next year and then retire. Anybody see that wipe-out by the second place guy on Saturday? Ouch! cg

I haven't really been following the day to day stages closely or how it all wnded except Armstrong winning. Was the 2nd guy that crashed the very gentlemanly German that got off his bike and waited for Lance to get back up after that kid accidently knocked him off his bike a few stages ago?

Yep. And I understand that Lance had done the same for him in a previous race. How cool that there are a few folks left who know what sportsmanship is!
The stopping didn't happen in this case because they were all riding individually against the clock, not in a pack. I can't believe they get right back up and start riding after sliding several yards, body and bike.
