Yesterday I was watching an old movie on DVD, D.O.A. I recognized Beverly Garland immediately even though her hair was very dark. Her distinctive eyes betrayed her. 
At the end of the movie, she was credited as Beverly Campbell, which was her first husband's surname.
It turns out, Beverly's birth surname was Fessenden.
She later had two more husbands, Richard Garland and Filmore Crank.
She's also known for her roles as Barbara Harper, who married Steve Douglas on My Three Sons, and as Dotty West, Amanda's mother on Scarecrow and Mrs King.. Plus she had numerous other movie and television roles.
Just thought I'd post this since she appeared on tonight's episode of Remington Steele as Laura's mother on Me-TV. Stephanie's dad, Efrem Zimbalist Jr. also appeared in the episode.
For her television work, she was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6801 Hollywood Boulevard.
