First, kudos to Ace who had created the best and most comprehensive PB site on the internet. What a treasure trove of PB info! I have some questions about Cassandra that I hope folks here will be able to answer. How old was CH when she died in 1991? According to her obituary and magazine interviews from around that time, she was 39. But more recent interviews/articles said that she was 12 years PB's senior. Which one is correct? I thought that she looks significantly older than PB when she played Anna/Felicia in RS. Also, the articles from the RS years often mentioned that Chris and Charlotte are PB and CH's biological children. I wonder why they chose to present that as a fact to the press at that time? Or perhaps the interviewer just assumed that they were PB's kids. No disrespect meant to PB or his family, but it just puzzles me.

Actors especially actresses have been known to fudge their ages (for obvious reasons - they're usually considered too young or too old for roles). Cassie was born Dec 1941 and her first marriage was in the early 1960s (I think 1964 when Pierce left Ireland at age 11). At the time of RS with the children I assume they decided to keep it as simple as possible since it wasn't any of the media's business and for all intents and purposes Pierce had been their father for years. Dermot Harris came from a famous entertainment family (brother of Richard) and there were issues if I recall with his alcoholism. And thank you, and welcome to posting

Thanks for replying, Ace. So PB and CH were the Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher of their day. CH fudged quite a bit of her age (12 years!). When I saw her as Felicia I thought that no way she was in her early 30's. "Dermot Harris came from a famous entertainment family (brother of Richard) and their were issues if I recall with his alcoholism." Unfortunately, Chris and Charlotte seem to have inherited their biological father's genetic predilection for addictions (according to PB in one of his interviews). Hopefully they've sobered up for good now. It must be pretty galling for a devoted father like PB to see them like that. I like and admire PB for being so dang loyal and caring towards his wives and kids (through terminal illness, weight gain, addictions etc.). PB had surely lived an interesting life. I wish that he would write his autobiography someday. In one of his interviews he mentioned having done some jottings about his life. The guy seems to have a particularly Irish gift for gab when in the mood (according to several interviewers). I bet the book will be fascinating! Are the bios available on Amazon worth purchasing?
