odds are not. there is a twitter for him, and the person talks/acts like its him, im however skeptical.
After coming to America, my family, like the good Irishmen they were, were having a pint and playing some poker, having run out of money they bet the D in our last name. We win the hand we keep the D, we loose, its gone......we lost.
There used to be a couple Facebook pages and one was obviously fake (he didn't know if he was married or had kids!) and my guess is the other was fake as well as the twitter. There are a lot of fake celeb pages around. Add to it that Pierce is not computer enamored and already has a professionally run site, and I don't see him running these other sites etc.
You think you can invite your friends to Pierce's facebook page because it needs more traffic, and it needs to reach up to 100,000 fans. The bad news is that his page now has around 41,000 fans while DC's facebook page has around 124,000 fans.
I think I'm going to agree with Laurent now (welcome!). It's legit. It's now updated with info Pierce has before it's even on his site (unlike the previous phony ones) or online elsewhere (like the date Ghost Writer was opening in the U.S.). He should have it linked from his site though like his Twitter.
