PBFiles is down because Cixx6 it's sever/website host seems to be down. I don't know if it's permanent (I hope it's not). But if so I'll need another and it will take time to find a new host, change internal links (hopefully the nifty Notepad program Yuliya recommended makes this part quick and painless) and re-upload about 1 GB of non video files (which I thankfully just backup-ed a few days ago)
I really hope I don't have to do this though, not just because of the time and PIA stuff but it means I'll lose my Google ranking AGAIN when it's just started to pick up and lose more visitors because I won't be able to AGAIN leave a redirect bookmark on the site.
Sigh.

OK. I found a new host since cixx6 is still MIA (pity they were never down before and so fast to update to. My new host is ByeHost and it's uploading as I type but not much is up yet. All Hail Yuliya and Notepad+ for making changing internal links a matter of minutes and not days. New url is pbfiles.byethost7.com But I've also attained a free domain that will hopefully stick around no matter the service that is far easier to remember and type. pbfiles.tkEDIT: I'm having severe S-L-O-W uploading problems with Byethehost so this one probably won't stick. EDIT: Byet is now bye-bye. 1FreeHosting is now it (and upload speeds are about 30 times as fast) even though their domain names kind of stink. I chose www.pbfiles.allalla.com as the shortest and least noxious. But if you forget it and don't have it bookmarked pbfiles.tk will bring you to it. Site should be back up in full by tomorrow (when cixx6 will probably then choose to reappear -  ) |

Edit: 1FreeHosting seems to be a bust as well. They have unlimited space but have a file amount limit and I've hit it 2/3rds in. Also for any question asked they charge $4 and there is no support forum. Sigh. I might have to go back to Byet since they allow more files.... I really don't want to be splitting the site up among domains it's a PIA in dealing with interlinks though I might have to spin the Bond stuff off...

Arrrgghhhh. Just did a quick search on Google to see if new host was indexed and see that Cixx6 is back up! After I just deleted my Google Analytics profile for it. I don't know what to do know that I have two sites. Keep both up and use one as a mirror site?

I've decided to keep Cixx6 as my main server for now since it doesn't appear to have a file limit like Byet. But I'm keeping Byet as a Mirror site in case Cixx6 goes down again. It will be updated as well but with a lag of a couple of weeks (hopefully). Thank you for your patience.

Because of a complaint, a couple of OLD Letterman interviews on my site hosted by 4Shared have been flagged so I've taken them down. The problem is 4Shared as a result has taken away public access to ALL my files so any interview or files hosted on 4Shared won't be able to accessed. I'll have to upload them all elsewhere and fix links so basically it will be a while.

I uploaded all the files on my Media (added a couple older Leno interviews since I took down all Letterman) page to a new host and am working my way - slowly - through the site to the sub media pages on Film/TV specific sites. Of those so far Remington Steele & The Matador have been completed. TCA, Tailor Of Panama, Evelyn and After The Sunset - files are up but I need to update the pages. |

I've updated the Media section with several "new" older interviews, including one with Pierce & Cassie from 1985. I also re-upped the older one in higher res as well as the Coke ads. More to come over the next few weeks as I continue to update and upload all media files across the entire site. |

10/06: Media section updated along with those from Bond (GE, TND, TWINE, DAD), Thomas Crown, Tailor Of Panama, Evelyn & Mamma Mia and a couple more things added to The Matador. In addition to old links being removed or updated dozens of files have added. The remaining sections will be updated over the next few weeks. Hopefully.

I've had a couple of take downs of video on Medaifire - both were freaking TRAILERS. So I don't know how long all the videos will remain or even my account remain active. So if there's a video or 20 or 100 you want then please download them because if my account gets deactivated it will take time (provided I can find another host) to re-upload.

If the site isn't coming up and you see cpuquota in the url bar and it means the main server for cixx6 is acting up - or rather down. Just check back in a few hours - it's wonky for larger sites until they upgrade the server. The annex site should still be up - which includes the Film Specific sites but not Galleries, Media, Steele, Bond, Inteviews. pbfiles2.cixx6.com/Ace |

I've decided to upload my videos to You tube. Not all because some are too long, some are just audio, and others I know will be immediately flagged (then again some people have entire films up and nothing happens to them - the mind boggles). Others from my site have already been uploaded by other people so I'll just link unless I have better quality. So far I've updated most all files on the main Multi-Media page. Site specific updated and uploads will be slowly rolled out.

My website is own down over some malicious software or script issue (in fact both websites are down as well as Lauryn's Steele site! Sorry Lauryn!) . I have no idea what it's all about. I have a support ticket in. When it rains it pours.

My new site is up and it has it's own sparkling domain. PBFiles.net. (capitalize, lowercase, doesn't matter) Link to site now at top of this board in menu. As a pointer Pbfiles.tk is still working for the time being as well since I can't redirect from the old cixx6 site since the host is completely down but please update your bookmarks to PBFiles.net. As usual there are probably some moving problems. So if you find dead links to pages or photos let me know via PM. Mediafile links are still really most sincerely dead and it will be while before I upload media files to Youtube and fix all the links on all the sub pages ( arghhhh). But the links on the main Media page are up and should be working. |
