Environmental Hall of Fame Honors Green Celebrity Pierce Brosnan at Awards Ceremony in Chicago
Honorees Share How the USA Can Create a Prosperous Renewable Energy Economy
CHICAGO, Oct. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The Environmental Hall of Fame will
induct over 36 honorees, 12 each day, into the National, Illinois and
Chicago Environmental Halls of Fame at Hotel Allegro, Chicago, November
20-22. Hotel Allegro, across from City Hall (171 W. Randolph), is rated
Chicago's greenest hotel.
The Environmental Hall of Fame mission is to help recognize and
implement solutions of top environmentalists to help reduce global warming,
energy costs, pollution and help increase energy independence.
Environmental activists Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye Brosnan will be
honored.
Induction is the environmental sector's equivalent of an Emmy or
Grammy. The media is invited to a press conference, attended by honorees,
one hour before each event (4-5 PM Thursday and Friday, 9-10 AM Saturday).
The event will be filmed for national TV.
Attendees may have photos taken on the Green Carpet (with the Hero of
Planet Earth (HOPE) Award for environmental group members). Photos and
comments may be displayed at the National Green Museum and Environmental
Hall of Fame exhibit.

Attend up to three events and view over 100 exhibits, which will be
inaugurated for the National Green Museum and National Environmental Hall
of Fame in Chicago. Twenty-two leading environmentalists and "green"
