OK. The show must go on. I'll post the quotes in a separate thread. I haven't keep track of the in the last month or two, around my vacation, so some have been lost. I've retrieved a few from Google, but not all. The list is at remingtonzeal.tripod.com/Quotes.htmlIf you remember more, please, let me know. However, I do remember Lotsofluck promissed to think about the next quote for a day or two... a week ago? Your turn.

My last post was "I love that man" and I will give a hint.
This was said by a person who soon would be murdered.

I think its time for another hint.
This is a story about heroes.

Well, in a way, it is. Not the first story about heroes that comes to mind.
The thread was beginning to look abandoned, so I had to look up all the suitable episodes. It's from Stronger Than Steele - Spooner says it when Max crashes the new show opening party.
Next quote - something easier.
"Who is the man that is not taking bath in my bathtub?"

That's from Steele in the Family. Steele to Bernard and Clarissa.
next one - "I would question why anyone would want to run 26 miles without being chased."

That's from "Steele in the running". Steele to Laura and Mildred

Correct farouhkina, so your turn to provide a quote.

OK, here it goes:
"You embarrassed her, and quite frankly, you disappointed me. I thought we were supposed to be friends."

Steele to Derek Vivian in Scene Steelers
"I hate birds. Especially bald ones"

RS to Laura and Murphy in "Steele Flying High." (Those honorary chairmanships are really for the birds, aren't they?)
Hard to resist throwing out this one, since the mood is literary tonight:
"Where is Dostoevsky?"

RS to Laura and Murphy in "Steele Flying High." (Those honorary chairmanships are really for the birds, aren't they?) Hard to resist throwing out this one, since the mood is literary tonight: "Where is Dostoevsky?" "He writes?" Etched in Steele. An irate Laura to Murphy and Bernice. Always loved the line. Up next: "In that case, would you marry me <...>?"

Steele says it to Laura in Steele Eligible after she says "...Somebody is going around killing bachelors."
"Climb, dammit."

"Climb, dammit" was Steele to Bing while handcuffed together and running from the police in Steele Spawning.
New quote, "Merely a downpayment."

It has been so long, I forgot where the quote came from. I'm working on it. Watching dvds of the SMA is such a chore.

Hint for "Merely a downpayment."
The conversation is between a chef and a butler.

Oh no, we're not going there again. The quote is from Steele At Your Service; RS said that when he was once again knocked on the head and found by the butler, who said he thought RS "had bought the vineyards." Next quote: "Don't get lost in your work."

I think a hint is in order. Think pipes, monocles, and English noblemen.
