Actors George Clooney and Pierce Brosnan , singer David Bowie , actresses Penelope Cruz and Charlize Theron or Coldplay are among the sponsors of a collection of wines from Bodegas Vicente Gandia, which will allocate a portion of the profits from sales to Charity House Valencia.
Whatever It Takes is the name of this new wine collection to be presented to society as Gourmet , the gourmet event host Feria Valencia from 21 to 23 September next .
The new collection of " wines solidarity " is born , says the winery in a statement, the collaboration agreement signed with the NGO 21st Century Leaders under which the Valencian winery will provide 450,000 euros for projects to combat poverty , conservation the environment and the protection of children worldwide .
In parallel , the winery will donate a portion of sales revenue generated in Gourmet Charity Casa Valencia ( eastern Spain ) .
Pierce Brosnan , Coldplay, David Bowie , Penelope Cruz and Charlize Theron have transferred their designs to illustrate the labels of wines for Whatever It Takes charity campaign , promoted by the NGO 21st Century Leaders.
The new wines solidarity , whose copyright is assigned to projects worldwide , are composed of three red, one white, one pink and champagne.
The red labels are inspired by the designs that have yielded Clooney ( cabernet sauvignon ) , Brosnan ( tempranillo ) and Bowie ( shiraz ) , while the pink has been donated by Coldplay ( Bobal and shiraz ) , the white by Penelope Cruz ( Verdejo and Sauvignon blanc) and cava , by Charlize Theron.
By joining this campaign , Bodegas Vicente Gandia " continues with a line of social action undertaken some years in Africa, where the company developed its first water purification projects , shipping container with drugs and school construction and other infrastructure " restated in the statement.
