What better way to calm my election-day jitters than to discover a new magazine out there with PB on its cover! BEST LIFE which is a men's health publication, available probably everywhere, $4.99. Shorter article than we'd like, but dramatically dark photos of our hero in geogeous pinstripe tailoring. -IcyCalm

"Jezebel" is an Atlanta magazine? I didn't know that. I've seen it all over the place here, but I assumed everyone got it. Atlanta rarely gets magazines the rest of the country doesn't get. I'll be glad to scan it -I just didn't realize it was 'rare'.
I realized Salma was on the cover of the Nov. "Travel and Leisure" magazine, but I didn't seen any PB, so I didn't get it. But last night I learned that I *have* to buy it - my aspiring actor nephew has his picture in it! (It's about the store he works in, Lo-Fi, and doesn't even have his name, but hey! I'll take it!)
And speaking of my nephew Steve, he filmed a Duran Duran music video a couple of weeks ago and he's filming, even as we' speak', a Kelly Clarkson music video. He might be in back-to-back music videos later this month!

Oh, I see that the cover of "Jazebel" has already been scanned.
Anyone else find "Best Life" with PB on the cover? It's definately worth buying, just for the pictures!

That isn't a scan from Jezebel, just a pic from their site. I wouldn't mind a larger scan. Are there any other photos inside? Best Life is a national magazine but the new issue wasn't out on the stands the last time I looked on Friday. Ace

I am glad the Best Life cover is up. I spent a good deal of time looking at that cover shot, and the one of him that opens the article, and I gotta wonder:
Were these photos, or just incredibly good drawings?

They're photos, taken in the LA Subway back in September. The lighting is highly stylized though, particulalry for the cover.

Probably a couple of days too late for those in the U.K. but PB has a 4 page interview in the Sunday Times magazine pullout from Sunday the 14th.

i can't believe it! a 4 page interview in the sunday times? last sunday i travelled to the biggest train station in the area in order to buy some english or us-magazines - and failed miserably! (just like a few months ago when LOA came out.) no empire, no other us- or uk-magazine, no best life, no nothing. but i did see the british papers and i picked up the sunday times to browse through, couldn't find what i was looking for and left without finding let alone buying anything! had i only looked closer . and my disappointment keeps growing as i've just learned that the german ATS release date was postponed again. initially it should have been due out on dec 3rd, then was moved to jan 6th and its latest scheduled release is dylan's 8th birthday ... so maybe i should give up any expectations and order the dvd from amazon.co.uk straight away. has anyone got hold of the sunday times (and or empire magazine)? did i miss much?

I doubt the DVD will be out by Jan. Even LOA took 4 months and this one will have more extras. Besides the film should optimally be seen first at the movies, it's glorious looking.
An excerpt from the NY Post, a run down on Decembers Magazines:
November 22, 2004 -- There's nothing like a little high-fashion to warm up the winter, so here's a look at what the style magazines have in their latest offerings.
In-Style's December issue is more like an encyclopedia than a magazine. While nearly half of the 624-page volume is advertisements, the fashion magazine is still chock full of content. Among the worthwhile reads is the up-close piece on Renee Zellweger, who graces the cover. In it, the newly brunette A-list actress discusses the challenges of maintaining a life- career balance, her contribution to the fight against breast cancer and her aching urge to nest. In an accompanying piece entitled "Shining Stars," In-style honors Zellweger and other celebrities (including Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek and more) who give back for a better world. Elsewhere, the celebrity home tour features are a snore. (Do we really care about ER's Maura Tierney's new pad?)

Before anyone breaks a wrist leafing though InStyle's ton of a magazine in search of the photo. He's on page 488. It's a great full size black and white photo, new, with a paragraph blurb about his work for the NRDC. There's a very small B&W photo of him at the end of the article as well with NRDC contact info.

Brentwood Magazine's 10th Anniversary issue coming out in Dec has PB on it's cover among numerous others: www.brentwoodmagazine.comThe UK Times magazine interview from last weekend had this very nice photo in it. If anyone has it please scan and share. And it was months ago (May 2004 issue), but who knew China had a Harpers Bazaar?
