He looks like a politician these days.

I've never seen a politician have that much fun.
According to a guy who saw this shoot yesterday it's for GQ. But speaking of politicians I wonder if it's A Ghost Writer tie-in. But then he has FOUR films scheduled for Feb/March release - though maybe Ghost Writer will open later in the U.S. than in GermanyFrance/Switz.

IN NYC promoting REMEMBER ME (but still pushing GHOST WRITER ) From Splash: We love it when celebs don't take being photographed too seriously and we especially don't mind when sometimes they turn the tables on us! Pierce Brosnan got all 007 and snapped us as he was having lunch at Nellos in NYC with his wife, Keely and son Paris. (and Bron) As he was leaving, he joked that we better go see Ghost Writer. We'll get right on that!

Who says there's no culture in L.A? Kate Beckinsale, Pierce Brosnan, Michel Gondry, and Ed Ruscha, among others, came together to host a cocktail party at Tod's last night in honor of Jeffrey Deitch, the new director for the Museum of Contemporary Art. Guests such as Halle Berry, Gwen Stefani, Kate Bosworth, Jessica Alba, and Camilla Belle hit the brown carpet at the Italian label's recently revamped Beverly Hills boutique to welcome the former New York art dealer. "Getting an infusion of New York energy in L.A. is always really exciting, and Jeffrey is the groovy right guy we need at MOCA," said co-host Kelly Lynch, in vintage Zandra Rhodes. Tod's founder Diego Della Valle and creative director Derek Lam showed off the brand's new digs, which now feature eggplant-colored walls covered in family portraits. "This residential feel is a great extension for us," said Lam, a native Californian who prefers to spend his time in L.A. on the road—literally. "I love driving around with the radio on, taking in the car culture." Academy Award-winning costume designer Milena Canonero and production designer Dante Ferretti transformed the boutique's third-floor VIP showroom to a 1940's-style supper club, complete with an original 1946 Rock-Ola jukebox. "I always used to complain that there wasn't much art in L.A., but once I discovered MOCA, I thought, oh, OK,'" said Beckinsale. "So I'm happy to support." The event benefited MOCA's exhibitions and education program.

Great photos at Tod's. Does anyone know what hat Pierce use to wear that was blue and had a big M on it. I think it said Malibu but Ive been trying to find it for a while now.

I think it's from a golf club. It said 'Malibu Country Club' on it.

voices.washingtonpost.com/reliable-source/2010/10/hey_isnt_that_pierce_brosnan.htmlHey, isn't that...?: Pierce Brosnan Pierce Brosnan touring the Edvard Munch exhibit solo at the National Gallery's East Building on Wednesday afternoon. Also the exhibit of 16th-century portraits by Arcimboldo. Seemed intent on the art, appreciative. Black peacoat, popped collar. The guards all buzzed as he breezed up the marble stairs (they probably remember his art heists in "The Thomas Crown Affair").
