I'll just take a moment to be repetitive and wish you and yours a very Merry Christmas, and I hope for peace in the New Year!

I'm sorry, I just can't stand that beard! Merry Christmas, happy Hanukkah, and a happy Kwanzaa if we have anyone around here celebrating that. May you all be healthy and happy in the new year. cg

Somebody shared this link with me and I just wanted to share it with y'all. The music that plays along with it doesn't seem to want to work for me in Internet Explorer, but it works fine in other browsers: www.llerrah.com/truemeaningofchristmas.htm My family and I are heading over to my parents for dinner in a few hours, then to church for candlelight service, then to my sister's to watch all the kids open presents, so I'll talk with y'all again after the holiday. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY! Ellen

CG, don't worry, filming is over and the beard is now in a bag under the tree. ;D

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Cheerful Kwanzaa, Merry Festivus, Merry Feast of the Pig etc to all. Hope that covers most of the revelers. So the beard has been bagged, eh? Pity, I guess. No playing Santa for the little tykes, then. But since, apparently, Presidential Advisor Karl Rove has leaked the classified (clearance - grown-ups only) info to children everywhere that Santa is "your mommy and daddy" there hardly seems a point in donning the old red suit. <sigh> www.theonion.com/content/node/43691

Do you think he'd really do that? Box up his beard and give it to his wife as a Christmas present? He might just be cheeky enough, pun intended. Here's what I'd say if I were her, "Oh Pierce, I'll treasure it forever (and keep it on hand for DNA purposes the minute they perfect human cloning)."
Less than a fortnight from now he'll be in my neck (another beard pun) of the woods, NYC, and I don't want to see hide nor hair (oh, dear) of it. But speaking of hair, Pierce, if you're listening, do NOT take scissors to that coiffure of yours just yet. Its length is finally right. Hmmm... I hate to think what he REALLY gave her for Christmas...

He joked on The Today Show it's what she asked for for Christmas. He's scheduled to strat filming Butterfly On A Wheel in Feb. I wonder what the hair style will be like for that film? I hope he's not planning on going the opposite direction and sahving his head. Ace

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I hope everyone is enjoying this Christmas Season. I received two PB DVDs for Christmas from my daughter. She asked me if I've ever seen the movie "Raw Heat" and I told her I never heard of it. Now I know it's a retitle for Victim of Love. So the DVDs she gave me are Raw Heat and Taffin. She's helping me build my DVD collection (I do have these on VHS). I hope everyone has great plans for New Year's Eve and New Year's Day and the rest of the week, too. New Orleans Christmas

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Happy Holidays everyone!! (although I admit I'm a little late ) Now that the beard must be safely in a bag, we have all the more reason to celebrate. I daresay that includes the man himself. I'm looking forward to the first beard-less shots of him. He's scheduled to strat filming Butterfly On A Wheel in Feb. I wonder what the hair style will be like for that film? I hope he's not planning on going the opposite direction and sahving his head. Ace Don't give him any ideas! You never know where he's looking for inspiration.

He joked on The Today Show it's what she asked for for Christmas. Over the holidays I saw a short interview done with Pierce where he has the full length gotee and scruffy facial hair, etc. With the exception of his clothes, the image of a disreputable vagrant kept running through my mind. I would imagine his wife isn't just tired of looking at it, but can you imagine what it must be like to have to kiss a man with all that facial hair? YUCK! It would have been funny to see how much the shavings would have gone for in an auction on eBay. LOL! Ellen

Oh no! Not that! I thought his hair style was way too short in the Premiere article, so I can't even imagine the shaved head look on him. LOL! Personally I still like the longer hair he had in "Laws of Attraction" best (without the sideburns however). The stubble he had in After the Sunset was nice too, but anything more is too much and I especially don't like mustaches on him. But then again, there are very few men that I actually think look better with facial hair, with the exception of Sean Connery that is. Ellen

Sure Connery looks good with facial hair. It's because he hasn't got any on his head!!! The same thing can be said of my dentist. My first thought upon hearing PB had lost Bond was Good! ... now he doesn't have to get that bloody zipped haircut anymore. Lord, with each Bond movie, his hair got shorter and shorter making him look older and older. What were they trying to do, turn him into Connery? I swear, combined with this news about PB not wanting to play Remington in a movie, I'm going to totally lose my cool if he cuts his gorgeous locks any time soon. I might even submit this on his Question & Answer website: "Pierce, God blessed you with a truly magnificent head of hair. My question to you is this: WHERE IS THE LOGIC OF THROWING AWAY SUCH A SPECTACULAR GIFT?" Augghh, Chill, IcyCalm, Chill I don't think he's likely to shave his head. I read in a recent issue of my TV guide that he said he is very proud of his hair.
