My reaction when I first saw the box in an ad: Simply gorgous. It comes at € 69 from my local stores. I'll have to look at the extras again. Oh, the temptation...

They should just sell the box. Really for $50 it would be less than I paid for the films separately -- but then I've already paid for the Special Editions and they didn't really need digitial remastering and I don't have the audio system that makes a sound upgrade even necessary. I'd love to have the small featurettes -- like the press conferences but there's all about 5 minutes and there isn't the dsire to BUY them. Now if we got the entire press conferences and some more substantial deleted scenes and interviews it'd have been a no brainer to re-purchase them-- ditto if we got Pierce commentary on the first 3 films.

Really? I think I paid less than $40 for the 4 DVDs. But they should sell the box. New Line did for LOTR.

I'm pretty sure I paid more than $10 a piece for the films. Only TWINE was bought used (and I hate that I got it with a couple of scratches -- it plays great but it still annoys -- I should have got the extra copy with DAD instead of Moonraker) and even that cost more than $10.
New Line only had to sell one one box and the DVDs all fit. There are several different kinds of Bond box sets that have been issued. Besides I don't think they'd send or sell me just the Box from Europe. Alas.

Europeans always get the best stuff. I did get that free copy of TWINE with DAD since I hadn't had one.

If your still tempted but want to pay less Amazon.de is selling the Uk Import for €55 (I assume that buying from that store inside Germany you're not paying import dutues) Ace

Oh, cool! Thanks Ace!! I'm so glad I didn't get it at Media Markt (big video, audio and electronics department store) yet. Stil have to have a look whether the extras are worth it for me, though. On a related note I noticed that amazon.co.uk has a "buy one get one for free" promotion on all the James Bond special editions (or ultimate or whatever they are, they are not very specific about the extras ).

I want that box too!!! But I've just bought all the ultimate edition in october....sigh......hope they're going to make it for the italian version so I've an excuse to buy it. Few days ago I read somewhere that the usa version of DAD has an extra that is not in the european version. Anyone saw it?
And I want the 1994 press conference video too, not to mention that it would be great to see also the screentest PB made in 1986, I've only few pics of it.

And here is the Italian box it's going to be released on 24th August.....that if at Fox they don't change their mind. I went crazy to find Mrs Doubtfire in shops and yesterday I found out that the release was postponed form may to next 16th....and no changing of date was put on Fox site.

What are the deleted scenes on the Ultimate DVD Edition of Tomorrow Never Dies? Do any of them include Pierce?
