I've received my copy yesterday, I'm sooo happy.... I've just finished watching to Steele your heart away, one of my favourite episode....I watched it several times in the past and only tonight I noticed that there's Pierce mother in it, at least I guess she is and if I'm correct there's also his father Bill......am I correct or I saw wrong? How many things I've noticed for the first time watching the dvds....
I've seen more or less the half of the episodes and some featurette, it's just a pity they don't have subtitles....sighs.

Yes, his mother and stepfather are both in the end wake scene -- he walks right past them.

I never found Charlotte in The Nephew. As for Season 2 episode - which one? Charlotte is one of the customers at the bar in The Nephew. Chris and Charlotte are in Steele Away With Me, I think in a scene around the pool. Ace

Chris and Charlotte are in the ep Steele Away With Me, Part II. They were be seen when Steele leads the police on a merry chase through the hotel grounds at the pool area. They both walked right to the camera. I also saw Cassandra at the pool, in a Leoprint bathing costume.

Is it my imagination or do we see most of the famous chest in Season 3 ? Not that I'm complaining, of course.

I think as the series wore on Steele's clothes came off more and more. Gone are those buttoned up three piece suits of Season One and if he's wearing a shirt it's usually half unbuttoned to the navel.'' Pierce was so sexually exploited. Thankfully. In pricing news, Amazon.com has dropped the Season 3 price to $25.99

Neither did I. Maybe we saw a different version that other people...[/quote] I've watched it again yesterday but I really can't see Charlotte. Maybe you're right, there are different versions. It's really annoying that every movie has several dvd versions.....now I'm looking for the German version of The Nephew to see the making of and to have the subtitles 'cause now I've just a vhs and can't understand all, I love this film and I'd like to understand better. I'm just waiting amazon makes an offer for it 'cause now it's a bit expensive.

The German version has a "making of?" There's never been an official US released version -- just some universal Pan and Scan version hanging around available from private sellers. I won't buy a version that isn't widescreen and has no extras since I already have the VHS version.

I received my DVDs on Tuesday from Amazon. Of course, I checked Steele Trying almost immediately. Yes, there are Tony Bennett songs but they definitely didn't sound like the ones on the one I downloaded from a file linked on here. The episode didn't seem as funny on the DVD as it did on the download. So I guess they used cheaper Tony Bennett songs! All in all, though, I'm quite pleased with the set. Stephanie's freckles seem more obvious in Puzzled Steele than they did in person. Maybe she was in the sun during filming of those European episodes. Or maybe I'm just used to looking at people with freckles and I just overlooked them. I haven't watched the commentaries, however. I've been quite busy this week. I'll have to look for Charlotte on my copy of The Nephew, even though I have no idea of what she looks like. Also will have to rewatch Steele Away With Me for glimpses of Charlotte, Chris and Cassie.

I've just watch Steele Away With Me and yes the woman with a leo bathing costume seems Cassie. Ace, yep I've read so somewhere about the making of The Nephew but I guess it's not widescreen, it should be 16:9. As far as I know there's also a widescreen version but without the making of here in Europe. You should check ebay maybe. In the Nephew Charlotte is a swedish guide so I guess she speaks something, I've found the spanish guide but not her so I'm really beginning to think she's not on my copy and I wonder which part of the film my copy misses. Wouldn't be easier to make only a dvd version for all the countries? How it's difficult to be a fan...

I have The Nephew on DVD (Region 2), and it's not widescreen, either nor does it have any Making Ofs. I don't even remember if the movie is subtitled; it doesn't say on the box. Was the movie made in widescreen?

Yuliya, have you got the German version? 'Cause on amazon they show that the lenght is about 100 minutes, while my tape is less than 90 so I guess there's some featurette in there as I read somewhere. The widescreen version, I think there's one from Eastern Europe but I'm not really sure, perhaps I'm making confusion and it was only a longer version (just some minutes), I'm sorry but I can't remember well.

Londonstreet, I have the UK version, and the box says it's approximately 100 min. Funny thing, I couldn't find this DVD on the Amazon, they only list VHS. Makes me wonder, though my DVD does look like an official release. Like I know what bootlegs look like... Oh well, they're usually region-free and this one is not.

I have the German DVD of The Nephew (of course ). Its special features include a half-hour making-of, the film in German, English and French and subtitles in all three languages. Amazon Germany has it on offer. It is the edition I have, but they are lazy and didn't list all the features.
