From Nancy Ellison's facebook page today ... Beau Marie died last night Nancy Ellison 5 hrs · Palm Beach, FL · Our wonderful friend, Beau Marie St Clair died peacefully in her sleep last night. You may not recognize her name but I bet you may have seen the movies she produced along with her partner, Pierce Brosnan: The Thomas Crown Affair, Matador and The November Man (to name only a few.) She grew up a surfer girl in Malibu, riding her horse on the beach. She died working on post production of I.T. and doing rewrites for one of their next projects - November Man 2. That is how she wanted it. Rest in Peace dear BeauZeau.RIP Nancy and Bill Rollnick (Photo taken in Dublin during shooting of Evelyn... copyright Nancy Ellison Photography.)

Beau St. Clair Dies; Pierce Brosnan’s Longtime Producing PartnerBeau St. Clair, who launched Irish DreamTime with Pierce Brosnan two decades ago and had been his producing partner ever since, died Saturday at her Malibu home after a 10-year battle with ovarian cancer. She was 63. Publicist Jennifer Allen confirmed the news to Deadline. “Beau was the sister I never had, my dearest friend for 30 years,” Brosnan said today. “[She] was a beautiful woman in every way. She had style, grace, humor, intellect, and a kind heart that I will forever miss.” Launched in 1996, Santa Monica-based Irish DreamTime produced 10 films, most starring Brosnan, including The Thomas Crown Affair (1999), The Nephew (1998), Evelyn (2002), Laws Of Attraction (2004), The Matador (2005), Shattered (2007), The Greatest (2009) and 2014’s Some Kind Of Beautiful and The November Man. The company’s next film is I.T., a thriller starring Brosnan, Anna Friel and Michael Nyqvist. St. Clair has also led Irish DreamTime’s foray into television production. To date, the company has sold scripted series to Sony, Fox and Spike TV, according to her bio on the company’s website. Outside of Irish DreamTime, St. Clair produced John McTiernan’s MGM remake of Rollerball. Before forming the company, she worked on such films as The Mosquito Coast, Deception, Hideaway, Race the Sun, and The Edge. She has also worked on Broadway, acting as production supervisor on the musicals Threepenny Opera and Shogun. “To be able to live the life of an actor,” Brosnan’s statement continued, “to make movies that touch people’s hearts is one of the greatest gifts any man or woman could wish for. I feel privileged to have worked alongside and collaborated with Beau Marie. Making films together was our dream come true. Beau Marie will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.”

variety.com/2016/film/news/beau-st-clair-dead-pierce-brosnan-producing-partner-1201676897/There is an update of his full statement in this article ... Dave McNary Film Reporter @variety_DMcNary Beau St. Clair, who served as Pierce Brosnan’s producing partner for two decades, died Saturday at her home in Malibu following a battle with ovarian cancer. She was 63. Brosnan was with St. Clair a few hours before her passing, according to publicist Jennifer Allen. St. Clair — a California native — and Brosnan founded Los Angeles-based Irish DreamTime in 1996 with backing from MGM after Brosnan starred as James Bond in 1995’s “GoldenEye.” Irish DreamTime’s first production was the 1998 drama “The Nephew,” followed by the remake of “The Thomas Crown Affair,” which starred Brosnan and Rene Russo. Other Irish DreamTime productions included “The Laws of Attraction,” “Matador,” “November Man,” “Evelyn,” “The Greatest,” “Some Kind of Beautiful” and the yet-to-be-released “I.T.” She also was a producer on the 2002 remake of “Rollerball.” Prior to teaming up with Brosnan, St. Clair was an assistant to Jerome Hellman and worked on “The Mosquito Coast,” “Hideaway,” “Race the Sun” and “The Edge.” She also worked as a production supervisor on the Broadway musicals “Threepenny Opera” and “Shogun.” St. Clair was preceded in death by her husband, producer Lloyd Phillips, who died of a heart attack in January of 2013. Survivors include St. Clair’s mother and two brothers. UPDATE — Brosnan issued a statement following the first reports of St. Clair’s passing: My dearest friend Beau Marie St Claire passed away on Saturday, Jan 9th from Ovarian Cancer. She fought this insidious disease valiantly for ten long years. Beau was the sister I never had, my dearest friend for 30 years, and my producing partner at Irish Dreamtime, a company we formed twenty years ago. In that time we produced 10 films including “The Thomas Crown Affair,” ” The Matador,” “Evelyn,” “The November Man,” and this past summer a thriller called “IT.” Beau Marie was a beautiful woman in every way. She had style, grace, humor, intellect, and a kind heart that I will forever miss. To be able to live the life of an actor, to make movies that touch people’s hearts is one of the greatest gifts any man or woman could wish for. I feel privileged to have worked along side and collaborated with Beau Marie. Making films together was our dream come true. Beau Marie will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Cancer seems to follow Brosnan everywhere. Unfortunately, cancer follows ALL of us everywhere. It's just not so widely publicized when one of us has a cluster of similar cancers in our family or community. Fame sure has its price in many different ways
