Pierce Brosnan
is a legendary Irish-American film and television actor, film producer, artist, and philanthropist. He has starred in such notable films as The Matador, The Tailor of Panama, The Ghost Writer and The Thomas Crown Affair. He famously played iconic Agent 007 in four box-office hits of the James Bond series, and rose to fame in the U.S. for his role as the lead character in the NBC television series, Remington Steele. Brosnan also expresses his passion for filmmaking through his production company, Irish DreamTime. A true artist and philanthropist, he sells his vibrant paintings to raise funds for his favorite charities related to children, women’s health, animals and the environment. Brosnan has been a UNICEF Ireland Ambassador since 2001 and among many accolades has received the 2011 Caritas Award from St. John’s Health Center Foundation for his community service, 2007 Golden Kamera Award for his environmental work, a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Chicago Film Festival, two Honorary Doctorate degrees, and an Order of the British Empire bestowed by Her Majesty the Queen.
Robert Graham Visionary Award
The late Robert Graham was an artist and sculptor of international reputation, and a dedicated and generous member of the Yo San University Board of Trustees.Founded in 2009 in his honor, the Robert Graham Visionary award is conferred annually by Yo San University to persons who have demonstrated vision and commitment to the health and wellness of humanity. Prior awardees include Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman (2009), Sela Ward (2011), Robert Downey, Jr. (2012), and Debbie Allen (2013).
