Variety: Pierce Brosnan’s ‘November Man’ Scores ‘Oblivion’s’ Olga KurylenkoMay 17, 2013 Bracey, Smitrovich also added to cast Dave McNary Olga Kurylenko, Luke Bracey and Bill Smitrovich are joining Pierce Brosnan in the action-thriller “November Man,” directed by Roger Donaldson. The castings were ann0unced at Cannes on Friday — three days before the start of production in Europe — by producers Beau St. Clair of Irish Dreamtime and Sriram Das of Das Films. The Solution is handling international rights and CAA represents the U.S. rights. Brosnan’s Irish DreamTime announced the project at Cannes last year as part of a multipicture financing and distribution deal with the Solution Entertainment Group, with “November Man” set as the launch title and framed as a potential franchise-starter. Script has been written by Michael Finch and Karl Gajdusek (“Oblivion”) and developed from Bill Granger’s “There Are No Spies,” the seventh book in Granger’s 13-part “November Man” series. Brosnan portrays an ex-CIA operative pitted against his former pupil, played by Bracey. The two are in a race to find a woman — portrayed by Kurylenko — who is hiding from her past and who holds the key to an international conspiracy. Project is financed by Merced Media Partners, Envision Entertainment Corporation and PalmStar Media Capital. Exec producers include Merced’s Raj Singh and Stuart Brown, PalmStar’s Kevin Frakes, Envision’s Grant Cramer, Remington Chase and Stepan Martirosyan, and Myles Nestel and Lisa Wilson of The Solution. Kurylenko is currently starring in “Oblivion” and Bracey is in “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.” Smitrovich’s feature credits include “Iron Man,” “Ted” and “Independence Day.” Kurylenko is represented by CAA and Tavistock Wood Management. Bracey is repped by CAA and managed by Will Ward at Roar. Smitrovich is represented by The Kohner Agency and Craig Dorfman of Frontline Management. ================================= Cannes: Olga Kurylenko, Luke Bracey, Bill Smitrovich Join 'November Man'5/17/2013 by Rebecca Ford Pierce Brosnan's longtime passion project will begin shooting on May 20. Almost exactly one year ago, the big news that Pierce Brosnan’s longtime passion project was moving forward was announced on the eve of the Cannes film market. Now, a year later, November Man is filling out its cast with three more actors before the project begins shooting on May 20. Oblivion star Olga Kurylenko, G.I. Joe: Retaliation’s Luke Bracey and Iron Man actor Bill Smitrovich have all been cast, producers Beau St. Clair of Irish Dreamtime and Sriram Das of Das Films announced Friday. The film, being helmed by Roger Donaldson from a script by Michael Finch and Karl Gajdusek, will shoot in Europe. It stars Brosnan as an ex-CIA operative hunting for a woman (Kurylenko) who has the key to an international conspiracy. PalmStar’s Kevin Frakes and Envision’s Grant Cramer arranged financing for November Man. The Solution is handling international rights while CAA reps U.S. distribution rights. Bronson has called the project, which is based on Bill Granger's novel There are No Spies, part of a series of bestselling espionage novels, a "labor of love." Donaldson is not only reuniting with Bronsan, who he worked with on Dante’s Peak, but also with Smitrovich, who was in Thirteen Days. Merced Media Partners, Envision Entertainment Corporation and PalmStar Media Capital are financing November Man. Executive producers include Merced’s Raj Singh and Stuart Brown, PalmStar’s Kevin Frakes, Envision’s Grant Cramer, Remington Chase and Stepan Martirosyan, and Myles Nestel and Lisa Wilson of The Solution. Newcomer Bracey, repped by CAA and managed by Will Ward at ROAR, will play a former pupil of Brosnan’s character, who turns on him. Dominic Cooper had originally been set to play the role. Kurylenko starred in two high-profile projects that were released in the U.S. in April. She was seen opposite Tom Cruise in sci-fi pic Oblivion, and opposite Ben Affleck in Terrence Malick’s latest, To the Wonder. Repped by CAA and Tavistock Wood Management, Kurylenko’s next projects include vampire film Vampire Academy: Blood Sisters. Smitrovich’s film credits include Independence Day, Air Force One, Thirteen Days and Ted. He is represented by The Kohner Agency and Frontline Management.

Bracey might be great in the role, hard to tell with such a limited resume I've not seen anything from but right now I'm disappointed Cooper is no longer attached. Cooper was young enough to be a protege but old enough to take seriously as competition and as an actor he's shown enough acting chops to make him believable competition.

Great finds Eaz. I love the relaxed cargo pants/sandals look. I guess that's Deveraux's post retirement kick back and bum out look. (which Andrea yes he needs stubble for!) Any car geeks recognize the model of this gorgeous car? Edit: On closer look, it's a Porsche emblem on the hood and the model is close to this, so a Vintage Porsche Cabriolet but a different year fineartamerica.com/featured/1963-porsche-356-b-cabriolet-hood-emblem-jill-reger.html
