Apparently there will be special attention for James Bond's 50th anniversary at the Oscars this year: m.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-20925447Does that mean Pierce will appear as well? Who knows, but I will keep my eyes open!!

Looks like PB will take the stage with at least 4 other Bonds!! They are still waiting on word from Sean Connery to see if all 6 will be there. www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/2013/01/10/oscars-2013-james-bond-sean-connery_n_2446102.html Oscars 2013: Will Sean Connery Join The James Bond Line-Up?The Huffington Post UK | Posted: 10/01/2013 12:48 GMT | Updated: 10/01/2013 12:48 GMT The Oscars 2013 could see Sir Sean Connery come out of retirement as part of a James Bond tribute, reports have claimed. Academy Awards bosses are said to be hoping he will join fellow 007 stars, including Daniel Craig, Sir Roger Moore, George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton and Pierce Brosnan, on stage at next month's ceremony to mark 50 years of the film franchise. Connery, now 82, starred in seven of the 23 Bond films and has famously been embroiled in a 40-year feud with producers of the franchise. The Evening Standard reports an Oscars insider as saying: "Sir Sean has been invited to take to the stage along with Daniel and the other 007s. As yet, we've not had a no from him. Normally he is quick to turn things down. Sean's relationship with the Oscars is good and we're hoping he'll appear. His issues with the Bond producers are not our business and we hope he will overlook that as we pay tribute to what he has done." Earlier this week, it was revealed Adele could make her long-awaited comeback at this year's Oscars. The 'Rolling In The Deep' singer has been keeping a low profile since she welcomed her first child last year, but Ace Showbiz reported that she might return to the limelight with a performance at the film awards ceremony in February. However, the executive producer of the Golden Globes has now said the 24-year-old Grammy-winning pop star is set to make her first post-baby appearance at Sunday's ceremony, where she is nominated for original song for the James Bond theme 'Skyfall'. 'Skyfall' became the first film in the franchise's 50-year history to gross $1 billion worldwide, and the song is also expected to receive a Best Original Song nod from the Academy Awards when nominations are announced on Thursday.

So far it all sounds like speculation. Connery's Press Agent says he hasn't even been asked.

Rather, journalists er bloggers should do some independent fact checking. They usually just regurgitate what the read online elsewhere, add a bit of conjecture or embellishment to it and call it news and then that gets picked up by another site and so on and so on - it's like the internet's version of the kids game telephone.

According to some reports that have reached me, for four minutes will all JB on stage. But Sean Connery, is in question because it seems that he was displeased with productoires of his last speech in the series and yet was very determined to go. We'll see if we can enjoy of seeing them all together. Attachments:

No! I don't think any of them were even at the ceremony. I watched the Red Carpet arrivals as well as the ceremony, and not a glimpse of anyone who played Bond!

The producers said they never planned to have any of them there because they didn't want 6 guys standing around lamely doing nothing. Yeah so much better to have Halle Berry show up and introduce a LAME overly explosion/machine gun laden video montage where her face was shown more than most of the Bond actors. Bassey's Goldfinger was the only Bond thing worth watching (and yes including that terrible dirge by Adele which inexplicably wins best song)

I think that perhaps none of the Bonds wanted to attend, and so withdrew it. It's been years since I performed much notice and are no longer so young.

I watched the Oscars, and I thought perhaps the six would present the Best Song oscar since Adele was a lock to win, but no, we got nothing. Well, OK not nothing. Shirley Bassey brought her A game and that was nice to see.

Welcome back, Barbara! Are you still writing James Bond fan fiction?

Hello Lauryn, first of all thank you for remembering that I actually did! But alas, no. I am not doing James Bond fiction for many reasons, not the least of it which is I don't know where I would post it.
I did however do my Masters thesis on Fan Fiction and used Bond fanfic as my example.
Right now, I have sketches for I Spy fan fiction. I just got into that TV series very seriously, and it is awe inspiring to see what those men did when they did it.
Thank you again for remembering me Lauryn.
